This product has worked fantastic for me. I didn't think I would ever reduce my redness, but this did the trick.

However, when reading reviews I have seen some people not have as much luck. I would try it for yourself. If after a week or two you do not see it working, return it.

I have found people at Sephora want to see you happy. So if this doesn't work they will try to find something that will.

We designed Anti-Redness Serum to combat multiple causes of facial redness, from mild Rosacea to broken capillaries to mild acne; whatever the cause of the redness, there is an ingredient in the serum to help sooth it.

It does reduce redness but it's not a miracle-worker. I would say if you do buy it give it time. It worked on me within 2-3 weeks. My son used it for acne redness and it worked much faster.

Question
I am going through menopause and my face started breaking out with redness and pimples. It stays for awhile and then clears up.
But it always comes back. I dd not know if it was because of my estrogen loss or what. My skin is very sensitive to new products. I have only used Oil of Olay all my adult life, I am now 55 and have had this for about 2 years now.

Welcome to the club. Same for me, my redness becomes sheets of skin peeling off and is irritated by water. When my skin calmed down, I tried this and their 5-in-1 moisturizer and so far no major irritation has returned. In another month my skin will go through its' 3-month cycle and I'll know for sure then. A trick that I learned is to try a small amount on the inside of your elbow/the crease and check for irritation in 20 minutes, easy enough to do while shopping in the store. And Sephora has a great return policy. I use their 5-in-1 cream too and love it. It is very light and doesn't seem to cause more breakouts and has spf 30 that works.

It's difficult to diagnose your condition without seeing you in person. Have you met with a board-certified dermatologist? Regardless of the cause of your "redness", First Aid Beauty's Anti-Redness Serum is designed to soothe inflamed skin and gently constrict blood vessels to ease a red facial appearance.

Our First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum is packed with caffeine to help constrict superficial blood vessels. When dilated, as seen with rosacea, the face looks blushed and fiery red. Alongside our caffeine, we’ve added our signature blend of anti-oxidants to help fight free radicals that lead to aging skin. Also within our formula are aloe and bisabolol to help further soothe inflamed skin.

I cannot say for sure that this would work for blushing. I have uneven skin tone with redness from broken capillaries and my skin is sensitve so a lot of things made it red. Since using this, I love my skin...it has such a nice healthy glow to it. I also bought the FAB ultra repair cream, and between the two of them...my face looks so much better.

Question
Do I need to use moisturizer on top of this?
I've been using this without moisturizer and it's been going okay... but I was wondering if I should invest in one.
I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so I didn't want to mix the serum and a moisturizer in case I start to break out.
Any advice?

Question
Okay on acne-prone skin?
I'm a teenager prone to acne breakouts. I'm looking for something to even my skin tone, but I don't want to aggravate my skin. Will this product be something that might irritate my skin / cause more breakouts, or is it safe to use with my regular face wash routine?

I'm no where near being a teenager, but I do have adult acne and lots of redness and very sensitive skin. The redness has mostly gone away but I use it everyday, during the day along with their 5-in-1 lotion with spf 30. Neither causes breakouts for me and I believe that they use anti-inflammatory ingredients, which should help you as well. Be gentle to your skin, scrubbing too hard can make it a lot worse, I had to learn that the hard way.

There is nothing in the Anti-Redness Serum that will irritate your skin or contribute to acne breakouts. You can certainly integrate the FAB Anti-Redness Serum with your current routine. While not expressly designed for teenage acne, the Anti-Redness Serum contains Sulfur that will in fact help fight the bacteria contributing to your acne!

I would definitely not use this product if you're acne-prone. My acne was starting to get under control until I started using this product, and now I'm having to do damage control. I've had the best results using products that have only one purpose (i.e. a moisturizer that only claims to moisturize, a cleanser that only claims to cleanse), but the sales associate talked me into breaking my rule. Run.

Yes oil free and silicon free too. I break out from everything too, even with products that claimed to be oil free. I realized that silicone in skin care products caused breakouts for me too. So I always read the ingredients and if I see dimethicone (anything that ends in -cone basically) I know it will affect my skin. That being said, this product has no silicones or oil in it and I think it's great for acne prone skin.

So called "broken capillaries" are actually not broken. These capillaries are close enough to the surface of the skin that they become visible to the naked eye. First Aid Beauty's Anti-Redness Serum constricts these tiny blood vessels so that they appear thinner, less prominent, and less red.

Product smell
I just purchased this product and used it tonight and the smell was absolutely terrible, I typically don't mind if a product has a smell bad or good.. But this is terrible like rotten eggs.. Hello! I'm pretty sure the smell you are referring to is the sulfur. Personally, it doesn't bother me (probably because I use sulfur masks and have been using this product for a long time) but I know some people can be quite sensitive to it. Sulfur has a distinct "rotten-egg" smell. But it's fantastic for fighting blemishes and redness. Don't worry, it's not expired or bad. If the scent bothers you, try putting on a fresh moisturizer over the serum. Either way, the scent will go away pretty fast.
