FAB Blemish Eraser contains an active ingredient called Benzoyl Peroxide that is routinely used for the treatment of pediatric acne. Childrens' skin is exceptionally sensitive, so while we don't anticipate any problems with its use on your daughter, try a "test spot" first on, say, the arm to see if any irritation ensues before applying to facial skin as directed.

If her skin is ultra sensitive, it might, you will have to test it and see. If you do try it, try it only once a dayon one spot and see how she tolerates it.

When I was about that age I used a much stronger BP--like 10%. I think this would be milder.

I have combo skin- oily, normal, and dry sections on my face- and I haven't experienced drying at all. If your skin is sensitive, take that into account, though. With some products I have experienced drying because of sensitivity to the ingredients in it, but for this product, I have not.

It dries the area just a tad but use the daily cream and it'll be gone.

Used once a day, this product keeps my zits away without drying out or reddening my rosacea-afflicted skin. At first I used it twice a day and it irritated my skin severely, but it turned out I didn't need to use it that often.

I haven't noticed any drying or redness caused by this. I have somewhat sensitive skin and have had no problems using this, even more than once a day. It is creamy in texture, but not overly rich, or scented, and feels almost moisturizing versus drying.

The FAB Blemish Eraser is a balanced formula that provides acne fighting Benzoyl Peroxide and soothing Aloe Vera. If used correctly (apply a thin layer to affected area no more than twice daily) it should not cause redness or irritation. However, if you should experience redness and irritation, please discontinue the use of this product immediately.

Order of operations with nightime routine?
I use the FAB cleanser + Kiehl's Midnight Concentrate + Caudalie moisturizer at night. Where in that routine should I use the FAB blemish eraser? Before the concentrate or after the moisturizer?

I would use it after the concentrate and before the moisturizer. Then it should be able to penetrate into your skin without the effects being diminished by the moisturizer. That is how I do mine!

FAB Blemish Eraser is specifically targeted to fight acne-causing bacteria and oil that sit on the surface of the skin and deep in the pores. For these reasons we suggest applying it directly to clean skin, before any other products.

For me, I would add it before the moisturizer, allow it to dry, then moisturize. However, I would also try it after the moisturizer, see which works better for you.

answer 4
You would want to use the Blemish Eraser before any other products (except for a toner). I would spot treat with the B.E., wait until it dries and then put the Midnight Concentrate, let that dry and THEN put your moisturizer. The blemish eraser will not work if not applied directly on affected skin. It's like putting on your sock after you've already put on your shoes.

I would use it before the concentrate and moisturizer, that way it goes straight to the pore and bacteria, without the others getting into the pore before it.

I don't think there's any right or more effective process to put on the blemish eraser. Whether you put it on right after you wash your face or after your moisturizing routine, it should still work. I'd like to think that AFTER would be best though. That way, you're able to keep the product in a more concentrated area instead of spreading it around when you moisturize. Hope that helped!

The active ingredient in FAB's Blemish Eraser is 3.5% Benzoyl peroxide. This active is entirely safe for use in a 12 year-old child, and is mild enough so as not to strip away natural oils from the skin's surface and cause chapping.

It's fine. It's the standard ingredient in a lot of acne cleansers. It can bleach out her clothes and your towels a bit though, so beware. Benzoyl peroxide works on my acne which is hormonal in nature, as hers probably is, but you should look into a cleanser containing it as well.

You’re on the right path to clearer, healthier looking skin.

Here is what we suggest:

1. Start with our FAB Face Cleanser. It contains soothing Allantoin and moisturizing Aloe Vera that prep and clean the skin to establish the most receptive palate for the rest of your regimen.

2. Follow with our FAB Facial Radiance Pads. They contain glycolic and lactic acids that are exceptionally effective for acne flares and scarring. These acids deeply exfoliate the skin, minimizing the appearance of pores and removing impurities that may linger on the skin even after a good wash.

3. Apply FAB Blemish Eraser to effected area. Our Blemish Eraser contains Benzoyl Peroxide to fight acne-causing bacteria and Bisabolol to calm inflammation.

4. Moisturize with FAB Daily Face Cream

If you're used to having a large dosage of Benzoyl Peroxide and/or chemical peels (I have the same experience), then this product should not affect your face as much. So I'd like to say that you can try using it all over your face. I used to put it in selective places but highly concentrated, and it was subtle but it eventually dried out my skin more than it should have. Moreover, it took awhile to recover from the dryness. Good luck!

If you're having trouble with redness from other Benzoyl Peroxide remedies, you might give this a shot. I've had that problem before and didn't have it with this one. BUT...it didn't clear up my breakouts, either. If you haven't tried the new OXY Clinical Solution 10% (or even 5%), maybe give those a shot--I've used both with success, and with no redness or over-drying.

For acne blemishes, FAB Blemish Eraser has no equal. 3.5 % benzoyl peroxide has terrific activity against the bacteria that causes acne without causing skin irritation. The Blemish Eraser may be used as spot treatment for a new pesky pimple or as general daily maintenance to prevent new outbreaks.

Definitely. The active agents in the Blemish Eraser, specifically 3.5% benzoyl peroxide and aloe, should be applied directly to the skin. Using FAB Ultra Repair Cream over the Blemish Eraser not only protects against any potential irritation, but also hydrates and replenishes the epidermis.

Question
How does this compare to drugstore benzoyl peroxide treatments?
I have moderate acne & combination skin, but because my skin is also really sensitive, I try to avoid harsh chemicals & opt for organic/natural formulas instead. I'm usually pretty good about washing my face twice daily, moisturizing & applying a spot treatment (currently using Burt's Bees blemish-clearing formula), but I inevitably end up with blackheads & pimples in my t-zone. I have no problem shelling out $16 for a product like this - if it works. Is it worth it? Or is it comparable to a similar, cheaper drugstore benzoyl peroxide treatment? Thanks!! :)

FAB Blemish Eraser was designed with 3.5% benzoyl peroxide. This concentration has repeatedly proven powerful enough to kill the bacteria that cause acne while remaining mild enough to avoid chapping or dehydrating the skin. Other store bought preparations may contain benzoyl peroxide but may lack FAB's soothing aloe and whitehead-busting witch hazel.

I would say it's about the same. I have oily sensitive skin too. This product is gentle enough to were it wont irritate my skin. There are probably cheaper drugstore brands that would have the same effect.
