Perioral dermatitis can have a number of causes. Identifying and removing the cause of your perioral dermatitis is key to preventing its recurrence. Once that’s done, we then need to repair the damage sustained by so much inflammation! Our First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream helps repair damage caused by a number of inflammatory conditions by deeply hydrating the dermis. It is a welcome adjunct to any skin care regimen that seeks to soothe inflamed skin.

You might want to check with your dermatologist -- it sounds like you might have a touch of rosacea (which, in turn, causes the dermatitis). The FAB cream will definitely not worsen the situation, but you should see an expert to get to root causes. If you have some flakiness either with your pustules or elsewhere on your face, then likely you could use an expert to prescribe you topical or oral treatments. I'm taking Accutane to diminish my rosacea (and bumps), which is making my sensitive skin even more so, plus dry. The FAB cream is a god-send as a night treatment, but again, I'm under a doctor's regimen for the larger issues.

I am a nurse and have been using this product on some contact dermatitis on my fingers. It works like a dream, better than the rx the Dr prescribed. It is definitely gentle enough to use on your face.

I would recommend this cream to anyone with sensitive skin issues. It's a heavy cream but it doesn't feel heavy so it should soothe any redness or dry patches.

I believe, you just nailed the dermatitis issue I have had for the past several years. My aesthetician, guessed it may be eczema, and this beauty product stated it was for eczema skin problems. Evidently, the skin issue I have, sounds exactly what you just described. And NO, this product irritated my skin even more with additional burning sensations.

This cream really helped my dry, scaly skin feel calm and mosturized. I had dry, scaly skin from just starting to use Retin-A and this cream cleared it up.
