Questions & Answers for First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

Question
eye makeup
I love Fresh soy face wash because it's so gentle yet it takes off my waterproof eye makeup too without irritating them. I wonder if this first aid beauty one would be as great.

It did take my eye makeup off, but not without the burning eyes, I'd not suggest this for the sensitive eye area. That is one of the reasons I returned it.

Definitely! This is my first time using this product and I was concerned about that as well as I was looking for a mkeup cleanser that would remove a full face of makeup, including eyeliner, shadow and mascara, and this one definitely does it- without irritating the eyes at all. I had been using Clinique's Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk and loved it, but it would sting my eyes often. I can rub it along my lash line with my eyes closed and get my mascara off without any stinging or rough tugging and pulling at my eye area. Would recommend!

I prefer this over the Soy face cleanser. This makes my skin feel clean unlike the soy cleanser. I think it would take all your makeup off but I usually use a cleansing oil to remove makeup prior to using this product to cleanse.

FAB Facial Cleanser is incredibly gentle. It will remove make up, dirt and grime, even eye makeup. However, we recommend using it carefully in the eye area. It is not specifically developed for the eye area ; however, many clients report using it to remove eye makeup. Since it is not ophthalmologist tested; however, we do not specifically recommend it for the eye area.

I have been using this cleanser for 3 months already, so I can give you an answer. It is an awesome cleanser, but it doesn't really wash off waterproof eye make-up. It washes off regular eye make-up nicely, but not waterproof. You would have to use a separate product for that.

If you have been using products that have been too harsh for your skin then this can help prevent further breakouts. Prior to using this I was using cleansers with AHA's to combat breakouts. My skin became too sensitive and the AHA cleansers made my breakouts worse. This calmed my skin down within a month

I have mild hormonal acne breakouts and this has certainly helped. If you have more severe acne this is probably still a good choice but this product alone won't get rid of the acne. Try something with a retinol in it, it helped me, but my sking is too sensative to use it on a regular basis. Good Luck !

My impression of this product after using it for a few weeks is that it's not really geared toward removing blemishes and acne so much as general cleansing. I think if the blemishes are *caused* by having clogged pores and oily skin, you could expect to see some improvement. But if they are caused by hormonal imbalances or dietary issues, than they'd probably have to be dealt with separately. I think that's a better way to go anyway (spot treatments namely), since most cleansers that are supposed to help with acne tend to really dry out your skin. Still though, this might help with the redness and scarring in the meantime. It's helped my skin look more even-toned even though I have a history of some acne that's left lots of little red dots on my face. Hope that helps!

FAB Face Cleanser soothes your face while removing dead skin and other acne-causing pollutants. We suggest cleansing with FAB Face Cleanser and then applying FAB Facial Radiance Pads which contain glycolic acid and lactic acid – two acne fighting ingredients. Since you’re applying the pads after cleansing, these acne fighting ingredients will continue to work on your skin throughout the day.

Product question
I have tried this last night, so far it works fine. I have no Irritation, no redness, no itchy scratchy feeling. I tried this again this morning, I still get oily. I do have an oily problem which i don't mind because i don't wear makeup often. I do have some acne problem because of clog pores.
Will this cause any clog pores? it just because i notice my face getting a more oil than usual..

This cleanser has helped my oily, clogged skin. If you are still oily, try not scrubbing for more than 1 minute and to moisturize with a good moisturizer. I like one of the Bare Minerals moisturizers. That way it won't strip your skin of oil. If you scrub to long, it gets rid of to much oil, which sends a message to your pores of "whoa we need to make more oil!" Which in the end, they make to much oil. This might be the cause of your problem because i know it was the cause of mine. Hope this helps!

Yes, FAB Face Wash is great for people with acne because it completely cleanses but does not strip the skin of natural moisture. All FAB products have an anit-oxidant booster which guards the skin against environmental harm, like pollution. It is also scent-free, dye-free, oil free, paraben free, phthylate free and silicone free.

I have been using the cleanser paired with the acne eraser and it works wonders! My skin reacts better with benzoyl peroxide rather than salicylic acid. I also have been using Tanda Acne Laser therapy morning and night and the combination of the 3 have been uncomparible to anything I used in the past. I have had acne for years and have been on several prescriptions but this has been consistent for my skin so far. Hope it helps! Good Luck!

It has helped mine, but my acne seems to come mostly from irritation and stress, so this really helps my skin stay calm and less reactive to temp changes like we get in Houston. For instance, this week we had temps in the 30s and 40s and today it's 70 degrees outside!

This does not contain any acne treatments, but it removes all of the dirt, grime, & makeup that can cause acne. It's also pretty gentle so it won't add to any irritation from acne treatments. I do not have a Clarisonic but can tell you that the consistency of this fabulous cleanser is between milky and foamy. I called it creamy. Do not know if that helps or not, but is is not a really high foaming cleanser but it is also not a non-lathering soap free cream. I am impressed with it and I have easily irritated/sensitive/dry skin. Hope you get an answer from someone who uses it with that device as I do not know if it works best with a foaming cleanser or not.

It's awesome for rosacea. I have a moderate case of rosacea, and this is the best cleanser I have used so far. It really does help to keep the redness controlled. No flare-ups for 3 months! Look at my face completely "naked", no foundation, no powder, nothing, just after using this cleanser and Ultra Repair Cream from the same brand. I have had rosacea for 16 years, since I was 19, and this is my best phase so far.

FAB products are formulated for clients of all skin types. Our products (including the Facial Cleanser) are mild enough to be used with various skin sensitivities. We suggest integrating the Anti-Redness Serum into your daily regimen to help with the redness caused by rosacea. This is perfect for Rosacea or Acne-prone skin. It is made to help calm your skin down, and there is nothing in it that will trigger a breakout. There is also nothing in it to help more severely sensitive skin, so you may need to add a benzoyl peroxide lotion to prevent reoccuring breakouts.
