answer 1
I've sampled all 5 of the D& G fragrances: no. 1 le bateleur, no.3 l'imperatrice, no. 6 l'amoreux, no.10 la roue de la fortune and no. 18 la lune. The product descriptions say they're all unisex, but I don't think that's true. No. 3 l'imperatrice is very feminine, and best for women who like sugary sweet fruity scents. No. 18 la lune is more classically lady-like, with both fruit notes and prominent florals. No. 10 La Roue de la fortune is a more adventurous spicy and musky scent, but it still has noticeable fruit and floral notes that make it very feminine as well. So numbers 3, 18 and 10 are all great scents for women (and I did end up buying them all, by the way.) As for no. 1 le bateleur, I think it smells more like a men's cologne with fruit notes--actually, it smells remarkably similar to the Sean John "I am King" men's fragrance. I thought no. 6 l'amoreux was a bit too musky and woodsy to be called a feminine scent, but there are many reviews from women who think otherwise. The only way you can be sure is to get sample vials for all the fragrances and try them out--you can purchase samples of them fairly cheaply on eBay.
I thought I'd also share how D & G is marketing the scents: I was collecting fragrance samples for a holiday church drive and I came across a sample of the newest D & G fragrance, no. 11 La Force. On the packaging of the sample, it pictures and lists no. 3 L'imperatrice, no. 10 la roue de la fortune and no. 18 la lune and underneath these scents it says "pour femme." Next to that, it pictures and lists no. 1 le bateleur, no. 6 l'amoreux and no. 11 la force and underneath those scents it says "pour homme." Since no. 11 is the newest, it sounds like perhaps D & G is planning to change their marketing and declare no. 1, 6 and 11 as men's fragrances. I hope this helps!

I believe that it can be used by both men and women. I tried some at the store and it smelled amazing on me, better than any cologne I've ever had.

Intended and marketed for women. However I supose if a guy wanted to,... it sure would beat the heck out of Brute or Old Spice. I know I would prefer to smell this on a co-worker. =)

I believe these fragrances are meant to be unisex. However, l'Imperatrice strikes me as a more feminine scent and since it literally means "the empress" (I believe this line was named after traditional tarot cards) I think its safe to say its a ladies scent.

I love this scent for me (I'm a woman) and my boyfriend finds it MUCH too feminine for him. So I would say it's more for women over all, but I am sure some men with the right skin chemistry could pull this one off too.
answer 10
I do believe they are unisex. When I look at the advertisements it shows both male and female models but doesn't assign a specific fragrance to a specific model.

Some of them are more masculine and musky while others are more floral/fruity and more fem. I'm a female and the one I use is l'imperatrice and it is the girliest one, although one of my more flamboyant male friends also uses this same fragrance.
