According to another answer to a similar question, the switch is automatic and you would only need to get the cord with different prongs, so that makes it easy!

It comes with your standard American outlet. You'll need an adapter if you go overseas with it and they use another standard. Since I don't see a switch to change to different systems, you may need a full transformer for it (spent a lot of time overseas).

The power cable, itself, does detach from the charger head, so you may be able to buy a power cable through the company for other countries, or they can tell you if that would work with it or not.

Just wanted to write a piece of advice about charging the Mia.

I charge mine overnight every three or four days. It has never lost battery power. Sometimes, I use it for two minutes (just press the button again after the 1-minute cycle has finished and you can go again straight away), sometimes just one minute. Also, I use the regular brush head on my body in the shower (helps stave off ingrown hairs!), so I use the Mia quite a lot! (But I don't use it every day in the shower.)

A fully charged battery lasts 20 minutes, but it takes 18 hours to charge.

The Mia holds a 20 minute charge, is 1 speed and uses the same brush head as the others ( information obtained from Clarsonic web site). Mine just shipped, will have more info in a few days!

The clarisonic mia is better for treval then the normal size. This is great if you have limmited amount of space.

With an adapter that changes the pins/prongs of the plug, yes. The charger is international and converts the voltage for you, so all you need is an adapter to change the pins/prongs.

Yes you can use other cleansers just make sure you don't use anything with beads. I've been told they clog the brush but really don't know it thats true or not. Hope I've helped you out.

I would contact Clarisonic about using in the shower only because of the way you charge the Mia vs the regular one. It seems like it might be okay but don't think I would do it myself but that's just me and I have the regular one with the body brush etc.

I would think that both brushes work the same but I prefer the normal brush head. I have tried both and for me my skin feels cleaner using the normal brush head.

What goes everyone think about using the Amore Pacific Enzyme Treatment "Peel" with this brush? I use the Amore night & day, it is wonderful, without problems. It is something I REALLY love & it's more of a wash than a peel so has anyone tried foaming their Amore powder with water as directed & then using it with the Clarisonic? Amore is an absolute MUST for me now but I've been debating the Clarisonic for awhile too.
