Kat Von D Sinner

Introducing Sinner, created by makeup artist Kat Von D, exclusively for Sephora. Light, delicate top notes of orange blossom, refreshing mandarin, and fleshy plum create a provocative, sultry heart. Rich jasmine blends seamlessly with a white-flower bouquet, beautifully tainted by the spicy warmth of cinnamon, an herb associated with ancient rituals of pleasure. A dark, mysterious back of earthy vetiver, patchouli, and woods enveloped in creamy vanilla and sensual musk lingers on the skin.If your mood begins to change from sultry to sweet, try Kat Von D Saint&#151this scent's alter ego.

Questions & Answers for Kat Von D Sinner

Question
For the KVD fragrance test A & B, how do you find out which is which after testing them?
A reviewer here stated after she did the test only then did she look to see which fragrance was Sinner and which was Saint. I believe I can tell one from the other, but I do not know how to "look to see" which is which. Where do I find this information? I tried pulling off the label, but there is nothing underneath. Can anyone help?????

I think it's the point to do a "blind" test. I wasn't sure either, so I dabbed one on each wrist to compare. One smells a tad sweeter than the other, which is how I figured it out. If they have a similar scent to you (they did to me), maybe just wait until they're available in the store to find out for sure.

It's not super-spicy, but I don't detect any musk whatsoever. If you've smelled Dior's Poison, then you have an idea of what this is like, only a tad lighter. I love mixing this with KVD's Saint to tone it down a notch. Hope this helps!

No I don't think the cinnamon smell is too strong in this fragrance, its just an added element that really makes the musk scent sexy.

Question
How dominant is the patchouli
I'm worried about the patchouli in Sinner- how strong is it? It seems to smell like BO to me whenever I encounter it in a blend.

Was psyched to see that patchoulli was one of the ingredients in this fragrance, but Sinner doesn't smell stongly of it. Sinner has just the tiniest bit of patchoulli. What you will notice are the floral notes and the warm sexy fragrance. This is a very feminine scent.

I agree that patchouli can be obnoxious, but in this perfume it doesn't really stand out. I tried the scent before reading the description and didn't even realize that it had patchouli.

I really like Sinner - I would say it's closest to the following:

DKNY Delicious Night
Dior Midnight Poison
CK Euphoria

Sinner is sweeter and more vanilla-y the than the others, which I like. On me, it doesn't have a lot of lasting power, but maybe it's better for some other people.

You might like it, but I think it is a bit more sultry than JPG's Summer fragrance which seems a bit lighter to me.

Question
Could I get a sample of both "Sinner" and "Saint"?
Well, I was wondering, since both "Saint" and "Sinner" perfumes by Kat Von D were only online, if there happened to be samples so that I could try them out before I bought the whole product.
