The eyelash primer potion goes on white. Depending on how you apply it, it's either a subtle white or a liquid paper white...but you definitely do not need a lot of this, so the whiteness should not be a problem. A few coats of colored mascara will definitely hide it.

Nah...it's just gonna sit on top of your lashes and not do much for them. If you're looking for something that's actually going to strengthen your lashes, your better off buying the Lush Lash System. That product is actually meant for nighttime use, to condition and grow the lashes.

You could but, honestly I think that the 12+ hours you wear it the rest of the day under your mascara does enough for your lashes. I don't like the feel of makeup on my face when I sleep, especially on my eyes so I don't wear it at night though I don't see a reason you could not.

Never. It goes on flat white and looks like old Whiteout. I doubt it helps lenghthen or do anything positive to lashes.

No, the primer turns out white on you lashes. Unless thats what your going for, it would not be ideal for wearing alone.

Dior or this?
I have few eyelashes and since I wear glasses/contacts, I really like big, thick lashes. Is this better than the Dior one or any other eyelash primer? I want to put my money towards the best thing :)

if you want big, thick lashes, i would suggest investing your money in lash extensions instead of lash serums, primers, whatever, that may or may not work. the thing about primers though, is that it has to be used with mascara, and may or may not make a difference. thats what primers are basically for, just to prep and prime for the actual makeup.

I have not used the Dior Brand however I love the Urban Decay eyelash primer lotion. I wear contacts, have asian eyes and thin lashes. I found this primer excellent to thicken and lengthen my lashes when worn under my mascara. It is also a huge time saver on applying my mascara. Used to have to apply like 5 to 6 coats, now I only apply 2 or 3 coats of mascara that is to make sure I cover all the white from the primer. I've been using it for 2 1/2 years now and will never do without it!

I think it depends how much you plan to use per application. If you are going to go over your lashes again and again to get more volume or length then you are going to use way more. I use one "application" to cover both sets of lashes and there is plenty product left over. I have been using my tube for about a month and haven't really put a dent in it. I think it will definitely last 6+ months. I would probably consider throwing out the remainder after 6 months since the build up of bacteria in the tube can be harmful to your eyes.

It is just like a regular mascara, except you would only use one coat so it would probably run out slower then a regular mascara, but consider too that it lengthens with fibers that will run out before the formula does.

I have extremely oily eyelids. I have not found a mascara that does not leave me looking like a racoon after an hour or wear. Does this product help to keep the mascara in place?

It does help to keep mascara in place but, if your problem is oily eyelids the better product to try would be the eyelid primer. I use it with this potion but, the eyelid primer is much better for oily lids. I suggest trying that to solve the problem first.

no. it really depends on what kind of mascara to use, i guess. i use this primer with two different types of mascara ( smoky lash makeup forever and covergirl lashblastlength) the smoky lash mascara already smuges without the primer and it still smudges even when applied with the primer. the covergirl mascara does not smudge and it doesnt even when applied with primer. depends, i'd say.

No it won't help. If you are having issues with oily eyelids used the Eyeshadow primer potion from Urban Decay. It is specially formulated to stop your lips from getting oily and messing up your eye makeup

That might depend more on the mascara you use rather than the primer. The primer helps the mascara to last longer, but having oily eyelids can still cause it to drip off. Try a good water proof mascara or possibly blotting powder to absorb the oil around your eyes.

it doesn't really help with lengthning.. i have short asian lashes too but it definitely makes your lashes look more volumized and darker. i'd suggest another brand but so far this is the only one that i've tried out of the many others.

i am asian and it definitely does not work! try shiseido mascara base. it works wonders! it sets your curled eyelashes in the same way hairspray sets your hair.

Does this make-up grow lashes like Latise?
I would like to grow out my lashes. I need a product that would grow my lashes out so I wouldn't have to wear mascara in the future at all. Would this be the product for me? I just don't want to try latise because it darkens your eye color and skin around the eyes.

no it does not; it does not even claim to actually help your lashes 'grow' longer or thicker. if you want longer and thicker lashes, the best thing to do in my opinion is to invest in lash extensions, they are awesome.

I think that most of the primers have a lot of similar active ingredients. I also use the Tarte primer and it is very similar. I use this potion because I love it and have never had a problem with UD products. It is really all about personal preference but from my experience, they are all about the same. UD is a good value compared to other brands and their eyelid primer is unsurpassed by other brands.

This lash primer is awesome. It works just as good, if not better, than Lancome Cils Boost. Plus its a little cheaper. It goes on super smooth and doesn't clump at all. I've tried a ton of lash primers, because I love big, voluminous lashes, and this is my new favorite!!

it works best if you let it dry :) It does for me. Helps to give the lashes a structure which will prevent them from clumping together :) try it out and see if it works for you!

Does this work well with the Urban Decay Skyscraper mascara?
I absolutely LOVE the skyscraper mascara, but are the bristles spaced out enough to coat your lashes after the primer has been set? Please let me know, I'm stoked to use this product? Also, if you yourself have used both skyscraper mascara and the primer at the same time, I'd like to know how it looks :) Thanks guys!

I don't think you'll have a problem with using this with your mascara. I love UD and this potion has worked with every mascara I have tried. It should be perfect with the skyscraper mascara since they are made to be used together.

I used the primer potion with Urban Decay's Skyscraper mascara and it worked GREAT! I love the way my lashes look: they are long, have volume, are curled, and are very defined. I feel like these two products complement each other very well. I don't feel the need to wear false eyelashes anymore. They are not as "glamorous" as false eyelashes per se, but these two products really help enhance your natural lashes!

In my opinion, no. The primer works best when you wipe the excess off the wand before application, otherwise there is clumping. The same goes for mascara applied on top of the primer, too much product results in major clumping. The wand of the Skyscraper Mascara is very rigid and if you try to wipe the excess mascara off the wand, the little bristles will start to break off. I think the Skyscraper Mascara works better on its own.
