Questions & Answers for Buxom Lashliner

Question
Removal?
How do you wash this off? Do you need eye make up remover for waterproof makeup or does standard, oil-free stuff take it all off?

I certainly suggest an eye make up remover to get it all off properly. Generally facial cleansers don't quite do the trick in getting all this stuff off.

this is a totally un-sephora type answer but i find the best way to get it off is by washing my face with a foaming make up remover and then using a oil free eye make up remover... personally i use the mary kay version. it works so much faster than others i've tried

This stuff stays on pretty well, a seperate eye make-up remover is a must. You don't want to scrub your eyes because the skin's so delicate. Any remover - Estee Lauder, Clinique, Lancome - they all work well.

I have tried this liner underneath my top lashes and it works well. I don't usually wear this for the inner rims, though. Buxom makes an inside liner pencil that I use for that purpose.

it might be a little thick for that and because of the conditioning properties it might cause burning or irritation. i wouldn't apply it to anything other than the actual lash lines.

I do not think it was smudge proof. I wear liquid and /or gel liner on a daily basis, and this one was just ok.

Chemically, I don't know what makes this product so smudge proof, but it is. I used Bobbie Brown's gel liner for years before I switched over to Buxom. I don't know what the difference between the two of them is, but there is a difference in application and endurance. I've never had Buxom smudge or skip or flake. Give it a try and you'll see the difference - for the better -
yourself! - Oh - Buxom Lashliner is 2g/0.07 oz.

Not exactly sure of the number of ounces. But, what I can tell you, is that this should last you until FOR-EVER! You really do use so little each day. I could easily imagine this lasting over a year. Again, get the flat, angled brush for application!

This is .07 oz or 2 g..Once it sets, it just doesnt rub off, if you sleep in it you will have the bottom smudge, but then you are not supposed to after all. Remember with the gels, you have to make sure you always close the lid very tight so it won't dry out!

I have tried a lot of different brands of cream eyeliners and have had a lot of them dry up on me before I was halfway into the jar, but so far this one has stayed very creamy and easy to pick up on my brush and apply. I've been using it for a while and have had good luck with it. I make sure I get the lid on the jar really good and tight before I put it away, too.

I tried both Bobbi Brown and Stila and disliked both because they dried out so fast . Buxom Lashliner was recommended by a salesperson at Sephora who said the stuff was amazing. It truly is the best liner I have ever used. It is easy to apply, stays on all day, and the product does not dry out at all. I am at the bottom of my first jar (it has lasted for months) and it is still as moist as the day I opened it. Definitely give it a try!

This item is safe for the waterline, but we do suggest that you make sure your hands and the brush you use to apply this are clean (meaning the brush should be cleaned after each use) and free of debris to avoid irritation.

The Bare Escentuals Buxom Insider Eyeliner is designed for the inner rim if you would like an alternate idea.

I used the eyeliner brush I already had. You can use any type eyeliner brush I would think. Depending on what effect you are trying to achieve depends on the style of eyeliner brush you use but keep in mind it must be a good quality brush. The cheap brushes shed too many bristles.

Is it safe for my waterline?

I use it on my waterline and I don't have any problems. I haven't used the MAC one but in my experience the Buxom, it stays extremely well on the waterline and my eyes get pretty watery at times. I don't have any problems with smearing except sometimes in the inner corner of my eyes after a few hours, but it isnt hard to fix in the mirror with a q tip or my finger, or whatever. I would definitely give it a try!

Question
Safe for very sensitive eyes?
I've always wore liquid liner until recently~ I have developed an extreme sensitivity to liquid liners. I've been able to wear mineral shadows without a reaction. Eyeliner is another story. I've tried several brands and the result has been the same...puffy, raw, itcy (just along my top lash line). Pencil doesn't seem to be as bad, but it seems (even waterproof), plus I like the look of liquid. Any suggestions?

This buxom lash liner when applied with a brush is very smooth on your lid, non-irritating and manages to not look cake-y. Also, the formula is more natural than most products on the market so it should reduce irritation, and it says it's safe to use when you wear contacts. I just got this and really like it. You should get it!

I have VERY sensitive eyes and this liner has worked great on me. I have not experienced any irritation, itching or redness with it. I just put it on my upper and lower lashlines. I do not put it on the inner rim of my lower lashline because my eyes are so sensitive. I don't know if this helps you, but my experience with this liner is that it is very gentle.
