Yes, this smudges on me. I have very oily skin and I also have somewhat hooded eyelids so my lash line comes in contact with the upper part of my lids. This may also make the problem worse with me. As with other responders, I've used the Urban Decay primer and it only helps a little with me.

Yes, this product can fade away on oily lids or get smudged on the top creases of your eyes if the liner is still fairly wet.

I LOVE this. I have really oily skin, so all eyeliners tend to smudge a little, but with this one, when it smudges, it just ends up looking smoky, not sloppy. It's so easy to apply, and feels so smooth. I don't know what the one review about the "fumes" stinging the eyes was all about - it doesn't have a fume. It's nothing but nice!

I have oily lids, and it doesn't smudge on me. If you have a problem with eyeliners smudging, try setting them with powdered eyeshadow of the same color ofver the top of them.

I've used Bobbi Brown for years but Buxom stays on better for me. It doesn't dry out as quick as BB does, and doesn't flake. I went swimming with Buxom on and it didn't budge. Buxom is very buildable. You can line as thick or thin as you like.

The longest lasting eyeliner I've tried is MAC's Liquidblast liquid eyeliner. It's not a gel, but I have worn it through a shower and washed my face and had it still looking perfect.

Bobbi Brown is far superior to these liners. A lot more long lasting then these liners. I also like Clinique liners which are less expensive than Bobbi Brown but there are not as many shades.

I have tried both of these and many others as well. I prefer Buxom over BB, and another really good gel liner with staying power is smashbox. I use the buxom pencil liner as well and both stay all or most of the day. Definitely stays on all night for a night out! Nice and bold too. I have the dark brown and it is really dark, smudgeable as well before it dries for a softer line. love Buxom products for staying power and cheaper than Bobby B.

Buxom is still on the next day if you don't remove it with cleanser. It just doesnt budge, even when you wipe your eyes with your hands during the day, but bobby brown is the closest one to it for staying power, but it will come off if you put your hands around your eyes during the day.

Bobbi Brown hands down. It goes on more smoothly than the Buxom liner and it does not transfer unlike the Buxom did on my lids....a few hours after I had put it on! Talk about annoying. It did smudge after some hours of wear which is also disappointing. I can't agree or disagree with the "research" results, you'll have to figure that out on your own.

my eyes cant handle it. And my eyes normally aren't sensitive. I did do my waterline a few times, and noticed that my eyes seemed to get really tired easy. It wasn't that I was tired, it was definitely the product. It's definitely the formula. So I use this on the top then line the inside with a pencil.

Yes. I accidently got some into my eyes with contact lens in it (during the process of makeup) and it did not irritate my eyes at all. I was scared for a moment but then I didn't feel any itching in my eyes. With some eye drop I was able to get it out easily. I feel definitely safe using it at my waterline.

Yes. It's safe just make sure it's not old and if you are using an eyeliner brush that it is clean. And if your eyes water like mine make sure it's waterproof so it doesn't run!

I wouldn't use it for waterline, mostly becauce of the glitter chunks in the blue. I have used the ones without glitter there at times, works ok, but for me, it has to stick close to the lash line or it moves too much.

I think it's safer to use a kohl/creamy pencil instead of gel or liquid liners. You could try though with these colors. I'd suggest not using any of the liners with glitter/shimmer/sparkle in them though.

If your gel liner dries out, you can always add some of MAC's fix+ or something like it to get it creamy and smooth again. Just google how or what else you can use to do it.

Unfortunately, mine has dried out. It's still smooth, but really hard to get enough on the brush to do anything but make little crumbly globs. I was really hoping this was going to last and stay creamy like it was when I got it - and yes, I always put the lid back on tight. I like that it's not a liquid (I cannot get those on well), but it's now getting dry, and it's not as waterproof as I would like it to be. I can't keep ANY eyeliner from ending up in the inner corners of my eyes. I want to know how to keep it in place on the "inner rim" - mine won't even stick there for more than a second, no matter what I use! Anyhow, does anyone know how to make this stuff softer once it dries up? Can you wet your brush to apply it better?

.07oz. It doesn't sound like a lot but a little goes a super long way. I bought mine back in July, I've used it at least 4 times a week since then, and I don't even think I'm halfway through yet. Definitely worth the money. And if you're on the fence and have never tried it, go into a Sephora and ask a worker for a sample and they'll hook you up.

I don't know that it's even big enough to qualify as one ounce, as it is measured at 2 grams. It comes in a large box, which is deceiving, because the eyeliner itself is in a tiny glass jar - with very little product inside.

I think you'd have to try it. Just filling in the base of your lashes (as they mention) will make them appear longer and fuller no matter what company's liner you use. Sorry Buxom, that's the truth. Whether they grow or not, you'd really have to see the research and how they've interpreted the findings to see if their claims are valid.

Question
Lower lash line use only?
Does anyone use it on the lower lash line only (not the waterline)? I only line the bottom lash line, and I've been using BE powder liner in Tiger's Eye. The problem I have is with "seepage" of the color. By the end of the day, I have dark circles where it has seeped beneath my eyes. Will this not "seep" and stay put all day? I have brown eyes and medium skin, so browns and dark eyeliners are what I use.
