Cashmere Mist is the name of the fragrance. The Oil Mist Spray is an Oil Spray - very light and non greasy. The Deodorant is a solid roll on - although I don't use it under my arms but on them, and other spots I want to smell good <behind knees etc.> there is also lotion and cream.

It is a stick, just like your standard stick deodorant, although I find this to be more moisturizing, (Cashmere) Mist simply refers the name of the fragrance. Enjoy!

It's a stick, it feels moisturising as you apply it but goes on dry so you can dress straight away, doesn't stain clothes like a lot of other high-strength underarm products and doesn't flake off - a brilliant antiperspirant and deoderant.

The difference between the body lotion and the body cream is that the lotion is lighter in weight and scent. The body cream is good for making the fragrance last longer. If you layer all three scents together the fragrance will last longer.

usually the only difference between lotions creams, and butters is lotions are the lightest of the body products, creams are a bit thicker and butters are very thick. I would use a lotion for normal skin, and a cream for normal to dry skin and I would use a butter if I have dry skin. I have also found that the heavier the lotion/cream/butter, the more fragrant it is <not on all products tho!>.

I've usually used the body lotion but this time ordered the cream. It's a little thicker. I think I like the lotion better as it was easier to apply and the scent seemed to stay longer. I love these they are wonderful.

the difference between body cream and body lotion is that body crean is more moisterizig the texture is a lot thinker, body creame is I think better for the winter months during the cold weather when skin tends to get dryer. lotin is I think less geasy, which make it better for summer time, its not as think.

Is it true that the aluminum in this antiperspirant will not absorb into the bloodstream?

The ladies at Sephora told me something about the aluminum in this product being encapsulated so that it does not absorb into the bloodstream. I want to know if this is true and I would like to know more details on this.I am referring to the Donna Karan Cashmere Mist anti-perspirant.

So they say. There are several patents for microencapsulization of ingredients but only to dispers them slowly so they aren't as harsh. they wouldn't work if they stayed encapsulated.

It's true that many deodorants contain aluminum to help stop persperation. For this reason, people often seek all natural alternatives that usually don't work well and leave one smelling of soured lavendar - I know this personally. I got tired of trying the natural deodorants because, they made me feel worst off. If concerned about aluminum entering into one's bloodstream, I guess I would probably print of a list of the ingrediants and ask a dermatologist. I will continue to use this deodorant - it works.

I have been using cm deodorant for 10 yrs only thing I will use in Texas heat! It doesn't turn funny smelling or darken the skin or burn right after shaving. It lasts along time inits container also. I always stock up three at a time. The store deodorants started having a funny smell so I've been sticking w this.

The Cashmere Mist body creme is used for after shower/bath. It is a nice alternative to wearing perfume straight-on. The creme is moisturizing, softening and smells nice. I find that it absorbs quickly.
