Is this one as good as the MUFE or Smashbox color correcting primers?

I've noticed, though, that although this is half the price of the higher-end brands, it is also half the amount. So if you bought two of these (to equal the amount you'd get in MUFE or Smashbox), you'd be paying the exact same price essentially.

This is just as good as Smashbox - and less expensive.

I have worn this primer without add makeup. I put a couple dots on my skin and gently rub it in and then sometimes I take a mineral veil powder I have and dust a few times and add some lip stain and I am out of the door. It really is a great product and it does what it says. It evens out my skin tones and neutralizes they yellow in my skin.

Question
Is this product oil-free?
I'm very interested in using this product to reduce my shine and redness, but I have combination-oily skin and need something oil-free so it doesn't add to my oiliness. Is it oil-free?

hey, I am not sure if it is oil-free, but I have combination skin too and it works well with my skin. If your skin used to be very red don't expect to much. And If you like to try this product just ask if you could get a sample in a sephora store. I can also recommend the clinique t-zone shine control pore minimizer. I use it now for a few month and I love it. I use it alway before I apply my make-up and my skin isn't oily the whole day. I hope I could help you a little bit.

It does help with calming the redness of pimples, and lasts well through the day - doesn't slide off and works well under other makeup. We found powder foundation works the best for us on top of this product.

Do you apply this to the whole face, or just the red areas?
Should I put regular primer in the areas that aren't reddish, or will this prime my whole face?

i tend to use the tiniest TINIEST amount of primer first (half the amount you use now) and then apply this all over my face, but starting at red spots, it wont take away every bit of red, but once you put your foundation you will , atleast I did, notice that it helps out, and you wont have to put on as much foundation/powder afterwards

I don't think this product would be bad for your oily skin. It's a pretty lightweight and relatively dry, non-oily material. However, when I first used it, my face broke out (because it's acne prone) BUT, it was finals week at school so it could've been the stress. I recommend it if your skin isn't too sensitive.
