You only get one when you get it at Sephora, and I know that seems like a lot of money for one but it's worth it! But you can get two for $30 on QVC.com!

It only comes with one pencil in the box. For some reason it is a long looking pencil but does not last any longer than the shorter pencils, like Trish McEvoy's. It is a little less expensive that Trish so it works well for me.

There are two caps, one on each end. Dark end has the pencil which you twist to make the pencil come up but don't twist too much because you can't make it retract. And the other clear end is the brush cap.

I acutally have been blinde before-last year, and am fair-I love the taupe for you -It worked very well and I have to say, i have had trouble finding a good brow pencil that was not toooo dark or so light you can't see the definition. I love this taupe. What is nice also it that you can use it as a filler brow pencil, or use it as a main and add a light brown if you need to. But...I say only the taupe for you!

I wouldn't recommend either of these for silver/grey hair, especially if you are looking for a more natural look. I have fair skin and dark brown eyebrows and hair, and the taupe (the lighter shade) is what looks natural for me. If you are still eager to try it, I would go for the lighter shade.

It is always good to look and try the product on you before purchasing because pictures can be deceiving. Rule of thumb is to always go a shade lighter then your natural hair because then you can add more color by applying more which is easier then adding too much then having to remove some. I am half chinese and I have dark brown hair and I use the Medium Brown.

You simply take off the cap, and twist the part below the tip that was originally covered by the cap in a counter clockwise direction and the pencil will emerge, you don't need a lot of this product to make an impact to only twist up a little at a time, it is retractable if you accidentally twist too far!
