Mine worked for a bit but it is not designed correctly. It's not just you! Would suggest getting a different travel brush. I am going to try the Sephora brand one

Honestly, I've had a beastly time trying to get the foundation down to the tips of that thick brush in the beginning with a new one. Make sure it's open and the brush is in its fully extended position. I've even shaken mine so hard that the brush head has flown off onto the floor. At least then you can see if the opening under the brush head is clear or clogged. (The brush head comes off for cleaning.) I've had some that work immediately and others that are a bear to get going. I think as the brush part is loosened up and not in the brand-new-squashed-thick-together form, it starts to flow better. The brush is just so tight in the beginning, to me. That's all I can figure. I'm fighting with a new one myself, but I have a couple old ones that work fine.

I thought I wasn't getting powder through the brush, so I turned the brush upside down and tried it on the back of my hand.....shaking it gently. Brush in a circular motion. You will see the powder appear on your hand. Since you are supposed to use a very small amount of powder, it doesn't spill out of the reservoir as quickly as you might imagine....but it works!

hi, make sure you have it turned to the right setting. with mine, i turn it all the way and then click it back just a little bit. best if you keep it filled to capacity. when it gets too low, it's a lot harder.
