Yes it will. That is a huge problem for me and this really helps, even when I let my hair air dry curly. It is a great product.

answer 2
probably not by itself. Check out the videos at ouidad.com for help on how to style curly/puffy hair etc. The actual best help is to find someone that is trained in how to use the Ouidad carve and slice for curly hair! You will not recognize your hair!

Don’t fear the puff! Single hairs flying all over the place is what is less desirable. Add the heat and humidity gel to wet hair. Slick fingers through the gelled area and once all the hairs are covered, kind of whip your hair lightly, so they are not gelled straight. Then either air dry or use a diffuser (if you have to). Once gelled curls are dry, smooth your hands over the curls to loosen the crunchy gelled texture. If you are near an Ouidad salon it is so worth the money to have them show you how your awesome curls can look!!!

No alcohol smell. No smell at all. I was hoping for something fruity like Paul Mitchell's skinny serum.

Yes, I smelled the alcohol immediately after opening it. I didn't even use the product, I returned it right away. I didn't want to use anything with alcohol in it.

You can use it before you blow dry to protect your hair from the heat and then use a pea size amount on finished hair to smooth it out.

When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair and put a dime size amount (and I have long hair and it's enough for me) then blow-dry and straighten your hair. Ta-da!
