It could be your makeup remover. However if you have been using it for awhile I have no clue why it would be irritating you now. This is a great mascara but if it is irritating you, check out Clinique's line of mascara. They are simply amazing and non irritant that I can guarantee. Hope this helps :)

I haven't had any issues with the product itself. If you think your makeup remover might be the issue, try Aveda Pure Comfort - I was using Clinique's Take the Day Off, which made my eyes sting, but I've had no problem's since switching to Aveda's formula.

Possible, but unlikely given all the junk they leave out and how natural it is. Perhaps eliminate other eye products one by one per week until you discover the culprit.

answer 6
What makes you think you might be allergic to it? Regardless, what I would suggest is to stop using the mascara for a little bit. See if the symptoms still persist. But still use the make-up remover. If you still are having those problems, then it's probably the make up remove so I would stop using it. Then start using the mascara again. Just so you can figure out which is actually causing the reaction. If the symptoms don't clear up, then I am not sure what to tell you. Hope this helps!

This is not as volumizing as buxom (there is a volumizing formula) However, it does separate well like buxom. A pro to this is that it conditions the lashes so that they stay in your eyelids longer.

I use both and love them both. The Buxom is much better for the volume and fullness but I love the Flawless for definition and separation which I need. It lengthens nicely too. This mascara legthens while the buxom adds lots of volume. If you want the most dramatic eyes you have ever seen, apply one coat of each starting with the flawless definition first. It's how I apply my mascara everyday, don't worry it does not flake and it still leaves your lashes soft. I find that it prevents me from having to use a lash primer. I hope this helps..........

Question
Does anyone else have a problem with the product 'squelching' out of the tube?
This is my favorite mascara, so I was really disappointed when I started having problems with the tube/packaging. Every time I twist the cap back on after using it, a lot of mascara comes out of the sides and I have to wipe it off. I've never had this problem before, but the last three times I used it, the same thing happened. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, is there a way to stop it from happening?

Oh yeah, it did do that. I get so frustrated becauses mascara's that do that glob up on the eyes too.
I always use Talika Lipocells under mascara and that stops the eye part, but if tubes do this, ...there are mascara's that don't do it.
Bobbi Browns new one is THE Best and also if you really love the mascara in spite of this gooping, then clean it and the brush really well, remove the rubbberized tube and add in talika to think it and mix it up and wipe it down and it should help without ruinging the mascara...

The Lancome mascara seemed a little flakier/clumpier and left my lashes looking a little less natural than the BareMinerals. If you're looking for more lengthening power or dramatic results (for nighttime, etc) I think Lancome mascara might work really well, though.

I used to be a Definicils only girl. bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara is the only other mascara that I like just as much, if not more than Definicils. Flawless makes your lashes look just as long, but more voluminous than Definicils. It won't clump until it starts to dry out which seems quicker than most, but I don't care because I love it so much!

I personally don't feel the need to use a primer with this mascara. This mascara doesn't add any volume to my lashes (it doesn't claim to and I like the fact that it's not volumizing), so I have a feeling that if you used it with a primer you might get some volume as well as lengthening and defining effect.

I find this mascara strengthens my lashes. I wear contacts and suffer from allergies and I am always rubbing my eyes and surprisingly my lashes don't fall out.

NO! Not at all and in fact I've used Buxom thinking they were sort of similar and this wins out by a long run. It is not that heavy, which is great!

I have not had problems with lashes falling out with this one. I have been using for well over a year. They stay soft. I also take a biotin supplement for my hair that seems to make my lashes naturally thicker and stronger, and so far this shows them off to advantage.

I'm going to be honest I've never worn the Buxom mascara but I've had the same problem with the mascara I wear. If you haven't tried a primer you absolutely should. Certain types of mascaras will actually eat your lashes so primers help prevent that from happening. I wear Bare Essentials Lash Builder primer and I've found that my eye lashes are a lot thicker and don't fall out as often. Urban Decay primer works really well too. I hope this was a help!
