Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream

Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream

What it is:An advanced age-delay eye treatment proven to significantly hydrate the eye area and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. What it is formulated to do:Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream with advanced antioxidants is proven to nourish the eye area and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Black tea ferment, also known as Kombucha, is an advanced antioxidant that helps to defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals while softening, smoothing, and enhancing luster. The formula is further enriched with lychee seed extract, known to support natural collagen, firming polysaccharides which help to reduce the appearance of fine lines, and an active complex of peptides and antioxidants that helps to reduce puffiness. What else you need to know:“After first trying Kombucha, a drink made with black tea ferment, I noticed an instant boost in my energy levels and began researching the extract at once. Referred to as the “Immortal Health Elixir,” its history traces back to 250 BC. I found that just as it reenergized my body, black tea extract works to reenergize the skin’s cells.” Lev Glazman, Fresh Co-founder Research results:Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream is clinically demonstrated to: - Maintain optimal moisture levels for up to 24 hours after initial application - Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles up to 36% - Increase skin hydration up to 79% - Increase skin smoothness up to 35% After an independent consumer testing panel used Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream: - 100% said it immediately nourished and soothed the eye area - 81% said it immediately reduced the visible appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and illuminated the eye area

Questions & Answers for Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Cream

Question
How long does it last?
I'm a little worried about the price tag of this, but recently I've noticed by eyes have had dark circles and I need something to help. (Guess it's part of being almost to my 30s now...where did the time go?) I was attracted to this because of the black tea (caffeine), but $65 seems a lot for a 1/2 ounce. Was also looking at the Lotus gel. How long does this last for the price? And would you recommend this AND the lotus gel as a regimen or just one?

I have used both. Black tea is richer and seems to soak in better - my preference. Lotus is cool and refreshing and feels great.

Lotus Gel is made just for puffiness/dark circles. I find the moisture very lightweight and weak. Black Tea is a richer cream that is all encompassing: hydration, fine lines, darkness, antioxidant.
Pretty much all eye creams are 15mL, and should last about 4 months if you use the recommended 'size-of-a-grain-of-rice'.

I love the way this cream feels and hydrates. I think it makes my eyes look brighter and more rested. Get a complimentary sample the next time you stop into Sephora. That's the beauty of Sephora! You can try things out before you invest in the full size item. Gotta luv' it!

I had your same concerns. It's only half an ounce for crying out loud, for $65! This is what I did, I saw that within 1 month, nearly half was gone--applying a.m. and p.m., so I got an additional eye cream for half the price to use every few days. One that still makes similar claims and is still non-irritating. Just to supplement and to see if I can even notice a difference. After using another brand--Caudelie, which I sing high praises of--the entire line. I noticed I can use far less of the Fresh when I do apply. So that's something. For the non-irritation factor and the safe ingredients and knowing it wasnt tested on animals (I don't think?) that makes it seem worth it. However, I'll still keep looking for one with all those requirements that's cheaper. If it were a full ounce, I'd be fine with it, but...So, use less when applying, a little does go further than expected, and get a far cheaper eye cream to supplement it.
I'm in my 30's too--it definitely does reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and increase smoothness like it says, increasing hydration--every cream does that, so...
Also, it smells so soothing and relaxing, sometimes that's worth price right there. It just feels so nice and def non-drying to put on.

Hope that helps!!

I've never used the lotus gel, so I can't answer if both would work. I can highly recommend the eye cream. I use it twice a day and a little goes a long way. I feel it is so worth the $65 for the fab results I've seen in only three weeks!

I was skeptical too but you really only need a very small amount--I use less than half a pea size amount for both eyes. My mom has used it for several months and is still on her first tube. This is the best eye cream I've used for moisturizing and I've had problems with dry skin around my eyes.

I think this product will last a lot longer than the lotus gel. The lotus gel is in a weird dispenser and there isn't a lot of gel in the bottle. I'm not sure if this cream works on dark circles but this one is more moisturizing than the lotus gel. They both are gentle and soothing though.

Question
Good under makeup?
I use lots of concealer to cover up my circles, so I need a cream that plays well with others -- doesn't glob with makeup, flake off, etc.

No this cream does not glob up or affect your makeup. I find that it actually helps my makeup blend better around the eye area.

I use this under concealer 100% of the time I wear make-up. I have dry skin,
unless you have oily skin it should work fine. I am also quite pleased with the amount of fading out of the dark circles. Concealer actually conceals now.

Not at all. I am sensitive to basically any nightcream because I suppose the richness of it. This does not seem to lay on top and "sufficate" your skin.

100%!! That is one of it's definite bonuses. It's not thick or greasy at all like other lesser costing creams. This will not give you any of those sebaceous pores/glands, whatever, or enlarge pores, or cause any kind of rash or break out. This is hands down the most gentle and least irritating of any eye cream I've ever tried, while still being highly moisturizing, smoothing, and protective.
Better than any Murad brand eye cream, any Origins brand, any Aveda brand, any Korres, Cosmedecine, any Philosophy eye cream (that brand is usually thick and greasy and will make you get spots).

Question
Where is the Black Tea Product Kit?
A reviewer suggested buying, for just $15 more, a Black Tea Age Delay Skincare Set, which had a full-size eye cream, plus trial sizes of cleanser, face cream, and a mask. I am not seeing it among Fresh's product listings, although I DO see the Soy product kit advertised twice..was that a mistake? Was the one I'm looking for a limited edition?

Yes, I believe that is a limited edition for the holidays. I tried to buy it during the VIB sale and it was sold out. Most of the big value kits sold out very fast, especially by Fresh, Tarte, and all the brands I use. You can try your local Sephora if you have one. I found some limited edition holiday gift sets which are sold ou ton sephora.com that were re-stocked at my local store. If you are near a Sephora store....I would check! Right after the 20% sale ended, I found many gift sets at my local Sephora that were so fabulous! (They didn;t seeem to re-stock on th web-site...but I am sure it is impossible to keep up with all of us! Milllions of women must buy from Sephora daily. I am impressed they can keep anything in stock. I DO RECALL SEEING THAT GIFT SET YOU ARE SPEAKING OF, SINCE I TRIED OT BUY IT MYSELF. My partuicular store did not resock that one, butit doid re-stock others.

Question
Why was this product discontinued?
I can't find the "black tea age-delay eye cream" first one i've used that actually works. I believe your company may have change the formula? So you have pretty much discontinued this particular product by reformulating and charging customers more money.
