Are there instructions?
I love the idea, but was wondering if there were instructions to creating different looks. I'm pretty useless when it comes to eyeshadow. Newish at the whole cosmetic thing.

The kit doesn't come with instructions, but here are some tips! Since you are new to eyeshadow, it is always fun to try things. For day looks you can use the darker colors to as a liner and then just use the lighter shimmery ones over the rest of the eye. At night, just add a little more liner on top and bottom and some darker color in the crease. Hope this helps!!

If you want to create different looks, the best thing to do is use at least 3 of the eyeshadows. You can use the 2nd eyeshadow on the top row as a color for your lid, and then put the 3rd eyeshadow on the top row in your crease (when your eyes are closed its the space between your eyeball and your brow bone). then you can use the 1st eyeshadow on the top row as a highlight (you put it right under your eyebrow and in the inside corner of your eye). that should be a basic everyday look. hope it works out for you!

There are no instructions, but I think the Bare essentials "Buxom" line has instructions. I got the "Buxom" mascara and it came with amazing instructions.

I have almond shaped eyes, so I always the lightest color in the corners of my eyes and right below my brows. Then I use the peach color (in the warm set) for all over my eyelids. If I want a little more dramatic, I add a dusting of darker eyeshadow on the outside corners of my eyes and make sure to blend the shadows together so it doesn't look like I have a line!

Well, I don't normally wet my shadow, but I tried it on a corner of the dark brown and it worked nicely - really anchored the color on. I've never been sure about how it affects the shadow if you want to use it dry too, but maybe I need to experiment with this technique.

it is small- I would say just about the size of a credit card. I don't have a breakdown of each shadow and lip amount.

According to the info on the back of the palette, the eye shadows are .04 oz each, so net wt 8 shadows x .04 oz / 1.2g
