what color do you recommend for blue eyes?
When I added details about my hair color, skin type, and eye color, sephora automatically suggested an eye color for me. It is no longer there. Another brand of eyeshadow is there now. Can you tell me what color would be best? Thank you!

on Colorful Mono Eyeshadow
I have over 30 colors and for blue eyes you don't want blue shades, you need to use a contrast. EX: Use my article DebbieEMS27 and my pic is there. I worked in a beauty salon for years. If you use blue then your hiding the beauty of the blue eyes. I would try the sea green kind of light for bottom and a darker green on the crease and half to the brow bone then half way in the middle of the lid where you put on a bronze apply a shimmer of charcoal color just the outside corner towards the ear (that direction) then a very light blue glitter or white from corner of eye all the way around the top of the brow and then sweep the big brush to blend the dark area put enough on it comes past your eye and the very lite blue glitter after using a clean brush will really see your blue eyes off, try it I bet you'll look stunting :) remember don't put any on going up the final touch sweeping will blend it perfect!
#27 Tender Pink! I have blue eyes and it looks amazing.

Western Leather! I have blue eyes too and I purchased this shade just for the purpose of enhancing them. Orange is complimentary to blue on the color wheel, which means both shades make each other stand out. Western Leather is an orange-y brown copper shade with a beautiful shimmer. Buy it!

I think it is interesting to match your eyeshadow/liner to your eye color for a bold look.
But if that isn't for you, I suggest grey or silver shadow for blue eyes. I don't own it, but I think the "City Fog" Sephora mono eyeshadow would look beautiful with blue eyes.

If you want something a little different for blue eyes, I suggest using a bright pink shade (I like Blushing) and then blending with a shimmery golden-brown (urban decay toasted is pretty good and can be used on its own too). you can line with some dark brown liner to pull it together. When this was suggested to me by a sephora employee I thought it would look insane with the bright pink but I always get a ton of compliments when I wear this combo.

I think some blue tones would work, shimmery browns or golds.
