This is a straight tube of lipgloss. Nothing like an airbrush product anywhere.
It's a very intense color lipgloss that is not sticky. It's a great product!

There is no real applicator; you squeeze it out and apply it with a brush. The opening is slanted similar to a doe-foot applicator but it's just plastic.

Its a squeeze tube, there is no brush or wand. Best applied with a lip brush.

Neither. It is in a squeeze tube that comes out of the tip of the tube, use a lip brush or your finger. no contamination that way!!!

It is only available in few stores. Call your local store first. Unfortunately my store does not carry it and sephora is sold out for many weeks. I bought mine from illamasqua.com. They are a UK company, so it will take a while to receive your order from overseas.

If you go to Temptalia's blog, she has several of these lipglosses swatched on her lips. You can still make an informed decision as to what color would look good on you even though you may or may not have the same lip pigmentation as her. I hope this helps.

Online. This line seems to have a very limited distribution at Sephora. I live in CO and called all of them about a year ago and NONE of them carried the line. The great Karla Sugar of swatching fame says her local store in Texas carries the line.

you can use a base but the colors are honestly the same as in the botttle , they truly look beautiful. the base would just be to make it last longer

Same as the bottle lipstick is not needed> In fact I used lipstick and the lip gloss but had to tone it down some. It was just that pigmented.

Does this contain lead?

I read a story about lead in lip products and the outcome of the use of these products. I know for a fact some brands sold at Sephora have lip products that do contain lead so I stay away from those brands. I'm not sure if this brand does???

Possible availability of "Petulant" ?

Will Sephora be getting any more shades of this gloss, particularly Petulant? I know they've already begun to sell some of the harder to come by shades such as Succubus (LOVE IT) but wonder if they'll be diversifying their offerings further? Maybe even some of the more off colors like Gender, etc?
