Question
Can I buy this at the store?
I haven't seen this at my local Sephora, but I was wondering if anyone has seen these for sale in a store, or if I should just order it online.

Yes, you can buy it in the store. It's a Sephora brand item so it's in that area of the store.

I have found them at Seattle's stores, they are by the makeup tools where the sponges and brushes are. Sometimes they are kept in a drawer under all of that stuff since they take up a lot of room.

That's exactly what I was wondering when I went to my Sephora!! lol! I had to ask someone where they were and that was after looking all over the store TWICE! They had it in a draw by the wall of makeup brushes and accessories. I know they'd sell more if they had them displayed! :)

Yes they are available in stores but the stores are frequently out of stock. I hate to see you order it online because of the additional shipping charges. I think $11. for a plastic bottle is a bit much anyway. They are great for polish remover, toner, alcohol etc....

It's not clear. More translucent. But you could probably put a label on the outside w/ the foundation color?? (Not sure how well it would work w/ foundation??)

The bottle is clear, but I would not use this for foundation. It is more for really liquid stuff like polish remover or makeup remover, not the creamy foundation type.

About 4 fl oz. I'm not 100% sure, but I know it's less than 6fl oz because my make-up remover bottle is 6 fl oz. and it doesn't hold all of it. WARNING: the bottle does leak if turned over, but works all well and fine if it stays sitting strait up.

I believe it would if it is a regular olive oil consistency... sometime they can get super thick depending on brand but if it is a regular runny brand thin you should be fine. Nothing about the product seems cheaply made even though the price is “cheap”

The pump isnt fabulous. Although I DO think it would pump olive oil (thanks for the great tip!) just as it does any other, it sounds like you may be looking for a better all-around quality. This item is NOT the quality of those in the store at the makeup-trial areas (the ones that are metallic that hold the make up remover and alcohol).

I love this container and put plain water in one and alcohol in the other. I think if the eye makeup remover isn't too thick, meaning it would run through your fingers if applied there, would work beautifully.
Good luck.

Question
Can this be used for travel?
I'm currently using Kate Somerville toner. I love the product but the container leaks everywhere when I travel with it. I've been looking for a refillable container, and the only ones I've found have been part of a set, which I don't really need. Can this dispenser be packed up for travel? Or does it leak when it's inverted?

I have not traveled with this bottle but I think it would leak in an airplane. The best thing for the plane and liquid is a screw top with a "washer" inside and scotch tape wrapped around the bottom of the screw top. I was a flight attendant for 34 years and this is the only thing that routinely worked all the time.

I use this container for my eye make up remover that has to be shaken up before used. It does not leak at all. The only thing is that I am unsure if it is airport safe to take in a carry one, but to err on the side of caution, I would put it in a ziplock back before I packed it. But it should be fine.
