Definitely a glow vice sparkles. A very prettifying glow!

Product size is 0.32 ounces - it's about the same size as a MUFE pressed powder compact.

answer 10
The package lists 9g / .32oz.

I find that if I pile this on with the sponge, it can end up being quite sparkly in direct sunlight. Indoors and at night, it will only be shimmery. Using a brush is probably safest for a subtle look. (Or, use the sponge with caution.)

I love using Candlelight as a highlighter. For an all-over natural, shimmer-free glow to rescue overly matte or dull skin, I have used Shiseido The Makeup Luminizing Color Powder as a finishing powder with very good results. Perhaps you can give that a try.

This is not sparkly at all. It is a very soft shimmer look and I almost couldn't notice I had it on! I did return it but it is worth a try because it applies nicely and does illuminate, I just couldn't combine it with my favorite blush!! I would also try benefit highbeam - love it!!!! Candlelight is compact powder size.

It does cast a small amount of white ashy powder, but not much. It would depend on how dark of skin tone you have as well. I have medium skin and it casts a subtle amount, but nothing too noticeable. Darker skin tones might have an issue.

I have tried this both with a kabuki brush and with the pad it comes with and oddly enough the pad seems to work better if you really want "the glow" but it does tend to put your facial oils onto the powder causing gunk over time. :( But if you do want a subtle look, use a brush because it seems to put less pigment on than if you use the pad. Or maybe I just use too much, lol.

I would not recommend this on dry skin. I think the reflecting particles would highlight the dryness of your skin. I have normal to combo and at time i think it makes me look dry unless i really prepare my skin with a great moisturizer. I would suggest a creamier highlighter or use this over a really nice tint.

My complexion is medium beige with warm undertones, and while the powder goes on very light initially, it becomes translucent by the time I blend it in. My guess is that the golden shimmer will be very flattering on olive skin tones.

I have combo skin and have not noticed this keeping my skin more matte than usual. That said, it does not seem to make me oilier either, which is more than I can say about other powders I've tried.

This is really more of a finishing powder so it's definitely not cakey but it won't deliver much coverage either. I have some red blotchiness too and have good luck with the following: Bare Minerals Multi-Tasking Face (I combine Well Rested and Bisque in the winter and Well Rested and Summer Bisque in summer) using Sephora's Professional Smudge Brush #14 for precise application. You can then follow up with Candlelight powder all over.

I dont think this powder has enough coverage to cover red spotches or blemishes. It is somewhat buildable, but not enough for a foundation. It is really only meant for a finishing touch to your makeup to highlight cheeks and face. You may want to try a Clinique pressed powder foundation for a good buildable foundation.

I would not recommend this product as a highlighter. It's meant to be dusted lightly all over your face, and even then the golf-flecks are very unnoticeable; if you tried to use it as a highlighter, it's likely that it would appear chalky.

If you're looking for a powder highlighter, you could check out NARS blush in Albatross. It has more "glow" to it and can easily be used as a highlighter. Or if you're willing to try cream/liquid highlighters, NARS and Benefit make really good ones.

you can use it as a highlighter but for more apparent gold pigment flecks you can use elf gotta glow studio blush or i used to use loreal hip loose pigment eyeshadow in restless. they are both nice yellow gold shades.

You can use this as a highlighter but I would do it in layers at 1st. Just to see how much you really need. I use a fluffy brush instead of the sponge it comes with.

High Beam by Benefit makes an excellent gold highlighter (liquid) easier application. For a flawless finish pat it on with a wet sponge!

This doesn't exactly achieve what I think you're talking about. I'd definitely try out the blush Albatross (which is a highlighter, btw.) by NARS.

I use it every day, and I love it. It's one of my favorite products.

Yes- I do. I use it on my cheek and browbones and on the tops of my boobs. I use a brush, not the sponge it comes with. It's not as obvious as a lot of other highlighters but it really does work. I love that it's subtle and not pink like most other highlighters.

It think the results of using this product will make you happy. It does enhance your overall look on your face . I feel that the gold is just the a hint of "Extra Beauty"! Very cute :) not heavy or loud .

I don't think so; it's far too sheer for highlighter use. But it is good to layer over your color layers to make them "pop" and blend a little better.
