I have bigger pores and since it's a matte finish, it tends to sink in rather than stand out. People with larger pores should generally stay away from products with shimmer because it makes them stand out more. As far as matte, matte is good!!

Is it waterproof, or more "weather" proof?
If I wore this to Hawaii, got into the ocean- would I have any of it left on my skin?

I think it would stay on in your case.. but I haven't tried it in the ocean yet. But over clinique waterproof almost makeup it stayed on perfectly in the pool.

This product worked for me.. I do have slightly oily skin and still became slightly oily by the end of the day but less than I have with other bronzers. I don't think that it will entirely control oily skin but I think it will help. And it is nice to see a bronzer with a mattifying property.. because most are more for the "glow" and thus oily. But this still makes it look like you've been out in the sun!
