Unsure if I need medium or Tan, any guidelines?
I need help choosing the shade for my skintone. I'm usually darker than a medium shade plus I have dark circles that seem harder to cover lately. I 've read the reviews & even more confused because some ppl say tan is too yellow? I m a caucasian hazel eyes,lt brn hr, but skin is borderline olive toned. Bare essentials medium is too light & ashy(grey) for my skin. Any sugggestions?

Personally bare escentuals isn't something for darker toned girls. I've been warned away from it. When some personnel try to put it on my skin it came out ashy and they'd have to eat their words about the product. Though most powders tend to lay on top of your skin like some cheap blanket, this sephora package completely masters the problem. It really blends into your skin it doesn't come off feeling or looking caked on. Take the leap of faith and go for the tan. You can determine the darkness or lightness of the effect by how much you put on.

i just want to know if these are like mini or normal sized?? also would you recomend medium or tan for my skin tone? thanks! i really need a good one. and i am trying to find the best foundation for my skin tone and i am only 15 so if you have any suggestions for better foundations i would really really appreciate it!!!

the primer comes in a mini tube of 8 ml.however this has lasted me some time now since i use it on my t-zone only.the buildable cover is a small size as well but this too is the perfect size and will last a long time as u only have to use it for cover on areas required.the mineral compact is a full size compact.the aplicators that come with it are a true miracle.
i asked for assistance at the store if i should choose a medium or tan and i was advices tan since i have a darker and more tan complexion.it would be best for u to go and test the colors out at the store.

If I usually used the mineral compact R35 will the D35 work for me as well?
I have been using the R35 sephora double compact mineral makeup and really like it. I would like to try the buildable cover complexion kit but I am not sure if the D35 would look right.

Well the R-shades are for people with pink undertones to their skin and the D-shades are for people with warm undertones. I think it would be fair to say that you could pull off wearing a D-shade if you would be ok with your skin looking a bit more golden/warmer (think healthy glow). You should be fine going from a pink undertone to a warm undertone, trying to do it the other way around is when an issue might arise.
