They are flat, and fairly stiff. Much stiffer than cheap brushes, but I like the stiffness, since it allows for more precise placement of pigment.

answer 5
The bigger end is rounded and fluffy but not super soft. It's almost too stiff fluffy if that makes sense. The bristles don't hold together tightly so when you apply your shadow, it doesn't hold very well. It's a good brush for a foundation color and the smaller end works great for smudging in darker color. Added some photos. The first is the brush next to my average sized pinky finger.

The bigger end is a little bit too stiff for my liking. It works fine, but would be better if it was softer and more flexible.

The large end is a soft, thick, rounded at the top blending brush . The small brush is a tad stiff and more flat so it's better for defining, highlighting and getting close to the lash line.

The brush is a little more than a centimetre in length (so 1/2 an inch). It's a good size for brushing the eyelid.

I got my brushes in the store, and they came by themselves, as in you grab the brush and go. They came in a plastic tube, but I don't think it's something you would want to carry around, but I suppose you could if you wanted to? But Sephora has lots of great cases for brushes, so if you wanted something to carry them in you can find a ton of those at the store and online. Hope that helps! :)

I use mine wet for my darkest color all the time (distributes more pigment that way). I wouldn't suggest trying to use it as an eyeliner brush, since both the smudge side and the smoothing side are thicker than an eyeliner line would probably be, but if you want it for wet shadow coverage, it'll work!

you can get it wet but i wouldnt reccomend it. it would ruin the brissles and if you plan on using it with another color the colors might bleed together creating a very ugly color for eyeshadow

This is not a fact, I'm just guessing because I already threw away the packaging, but they are much stiffer/coarse than any natural brush fiber I've had. So, I'd say they are synthetic or a low quality cut if natural.

I have the insert right here that came with the brush.....and it's odd that it doesn't say what the fibers are made of. For the price I assume they are synthetic. It's made in China for Sephora.
This is a very good question! But one only Sephora can answer.

I have not had any problems with this brush shedding. I've used it daily for several weeks and washed it twice and I have not noticed any shedding. This brush seems to be durable and I really prefer synthetic brushes over natural ones because I have much better luck applying shadows with synthetic brushes.

No, this is NOT for cream or wet shadows. It would ruin the brush. For cream and wet shadows, I would recommend the SEPHORA COLLECTION classic flat liner/eyeliner brush # 16 since it is easy to clean and the bristles are made for that kind of stuff. :)

I wouldn't recommend using this brush for cream or wet shadows because the bristles are very soft & fine, ideally made for loose powder/ mineral shadows. I'd recommend the Sephora Professional Platinum Cream Eyeshadow Brush #25 for wet/cream shadows. Question
Restore to original quality
When I first got this brush it was very fluffy at the larger shadow end and since the first time after I washed it, it has never been the same, but instead flat and too flexible to use as a shader brush and is very hard to work with so I haven't used it much since (I probably haven't used it in 8 months) but I would really like to because it seems to be a great brush for travel yet, the shadow end just won't dry fluffy again no matter how many times I wash it with different brush cleansers and shampoos.

How can I restore it to its original condition?

I haven't had that problem (luckily) and I believe that is so because I use a gentle, organic, all-purpose soap (sulfate-free). Give that a try and see how that works out. Good luck!
