do they sell these brushes in store?

I went to the sephora on 5th and 19th in NYC and they didn't sell any of these new brushes (with the colored bristles). Will they be getting them in or it's just online?

they might have been selling the original version of that...the ones with the crazy color hairs are the newer version of their brush line and your store might have not been up to date yet. They might have had a version of that brush beforehand, but not double sided.

This brush is amazing and definitely worth it. For one thing, it really picks up and transfers the color well. As for the slant end, well it's nice to have that as well. I found I could draw a line with it, so fine it looked like I used a liner. I use it everyday.

I think I would have gotten the smaller eyeliner brush from theBalm (Shady Lady liner brush) if I'd known that the smudge brush on this one would be so useless.

I seriously can't live without mine! I prefer mine smaller in length. Revlon made a dual ended one (black and red in color) for about $5 that beats all. I've since found them on Ebay and scooped up all I could get my hands on.
A dual brush is so convenient. I use the angled end to seal powder over my eyeliner and color in my brows and the smuder end to contour my eyelid. Love it!

I was REALLY happy with my purchase. I bought all the brushes. The only one I'm not so happy with is the purple one (with the angled eye lining on one side and the rounded brush on the other). Still, it's not impossible to use, it's just not as easy for me to use as some of the others. I found the design to be a bit lacking. But I use them all the time and they make it so I don't have to use as many brushes, and they're great in your purse when you go out cause you only have to bring three instead of six (and if you're like me and you carry around too much stuff, that's a life saver!). So, I was really happy with my purchase. I hope that helps. :)

Yes, this brush does, especially since it's made from synthetic materials, it is easy to clean later. I like to use a small amount or a drop of either makeup finishing spray (like MAC Fix) or Visine, something but not just water, to get the liner side of the brush wet and then dip it in powdered eye shadow for application. Makes the color - and your eyes - pop! As well as keeps it put all day.
Hope this helps! Go crazy with wet application and play around with it. You can always clean your brush and start over later!

My travel toiletry bag is made by ebags (www.ebags.com). It is a Pack it Flat Toiletry Kit. (http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/pack-it-flat-toiletry-kit/54638?productid=629520). When I use it with this brush I can lay the brush in one of the side pockets with the cotton pads that I use for cleaning my face and they protect the bristles.

If you get a piece of clear vinyl (I get mine at Joanne Fabrics), and cut it into 1 inch wide by 2 inch long strips, you can wind it around the hard base and it protects the brush ends. It's not quite like a hard plastic cap, but I have no troubles with the ends (I already had some to put around thread spools for sewing, so I just usedf those)

I have a makeup brush cyclinder that I use to keep all my brushes accessible. I've stored this brush, fat brush end (smudge side) down, and it doesn't get smashed. I don't overload the cylinder, but it is full. You might try it with a cup or glass and see if it works for you.

If you get a piece of vinyl (I got mine at Joann fabrics) and cut it into a piece that's 1 inch wide and 2 inches long, then wrap it around the handle, it will protect it. Not from a hair dryer landing on it, but it's worked well for me. You don't have to glue it; if it doesn't stick to itself right away, wet your finger and run it lightly down the middle of the strip before you wrap it. Another thing is to take a couple of like items (after wrapping) or even a couple of pencils or pens and rubber band them together in the middle; more protection...

When you buy the brushes they come in a tube. If you kept the tube, you could use it again. It's not attractive, but it would be an easy way to store them! Hope that helps! (They came in a tube when I got them at the Sephora store, I'm not sure if that's how they come online, but I would assume they do)

Angelika23, I really liked your previous answer regarding using eyeshadows wet. I noticed you said to try Mac Fix or Visine instead of water for blending the color, creates longer staying power and to get the color to pop. Love that, just wondering since I've only used water, (true, it only last a short time) but how come those two products work? Dying to know :> Paula Warp - across the bridge from you in Silverdale, haha (Tacoma Narrows Bridge - I live in University Place) I may need to hire you for makeup lessons, I've read your reviews and I'm impressed! A girl after my own heart, haha. I am fighting a NeuroEndocrine Cancer so I LOVE SEPHORA to help me look pretty on my bad days....keeps everyone guessing! ;) Everyone assumes if you have makeup on, you MUST feel good!
