I think this would look great on very black. I have very very dark brown features- I have used this with red hair, lighter brown and now my dark brown. You just add more for darker colors.

I would think it would work well even if your eyebrows are very dark. It's a medium neutral (brown) color so you could layer it on to fill in as needed without looking like you have dark eyebrow pencil all over your brows.

Probably not the right shade for black brows.

I would think that you can achieve the color for your skin type. You can really control how much color you add to your brow.

If your hair is black, your eyebrows should be a shade or two lighter. Unless you have absolutely no hair on your brows you should be fine. I love it and have been able to use it when my hair is blonde or very dark brown.

It only comes in one color...I don't know if it would cover grey..more brownish...

No ma'am, that's one of the best parts. It's just a little twist-top and you can twist it back down when you're done. I love it! And I promise this is worth the money because it lasts forever. I barely twist it up a tiny bit.

I love this pencil and use one about every 6 months. It is long-lasting and will get me through a 16-hour day, and is very natural looking, it far exceeds powders. I have tried two other brands sold here on SEPHORA, but Dior surpasses both of those for me. PRACTICE using it, it will become send nature to you! I would not want to be without it!

It's about 1.5mm in diameter and 1" long. It seems very small, but it will last a long time!

The "size" of the tip of the eyebrown pencil is very tiny....for a precision looking brow...you are able to put in little tiny strokes which resemble real hair that is defined and shaped.....and it never needs sharpening.

I know it seems very thin and like you'd go through it in two weeks, but the pencil lasts a very long time. The pencil isn't too soft so it doesn't waste away at every stroke. I think I'm on my second pencil and I've been using this product every day for at least 7 months.

The size of the eyebrow styler is a standard size for an automatic eyeliner about 5 inches - the graphiti is about an inch and 1/4. Small quantity goes a long way. The brush is about 5/8 inch.

Yes, it will work. I dye my hair platinum blonde but have green eyes and black roots (but I make it work!) it can be applied darker to match your hair or color needs. Its build able.

No it does not come with a lid for the pencil end. The top end has a cap to remove and you will find a nice delicate eyebrown shaping brush to use before or after. The pencil end really dosen't seem to need protecting....I just keep mine pencil side up which storing with my brushes, etc.

I think it would work with every color hair and brow. So many eyebrow pencils are such definite colors that they take away from the natural look. I love it! If you can get to a Sephora store they will let you give it a try. But even just ordering it, if it isn't suitable for your coloring, then you can return it!

I just love the dior ultr fine brow styler. It;s easy to use and works better for me than brow powder. I never liked the look that powder would give me so i am really glad I tried this one! It is brown and the more you coat it the darker it gets. I have blone hair and I love how my brows come out with this. I have seen reviewers that say if you have very dark hair it isn't dark enough but that is the only negative I have heard. You can always go to a sephora store and try it first. I think you will like it!

I used to use Anastasia brow wiz and found this product to be far superior. The color and application works perfectly for brows.

I used the Brow Wix prior to this and I will never go back. There is no comparison!! This is much more natural, better precision, better handling and all around better product. Enjoy!

I don't think there is a comparision....this precision eyebrown pencil must be used to find out why. You will be amazed at how natural and beautiful your eyebrows can look.

I've used Anastasia's brow wiz for years and the Diorshow brow styler is much better. It's more natural looking and is easier to use. It seems to glide on much easier then any other pencil that I've used and is much more natural looking then powders.

Yes! You would probably love this brow pencil. You can actually control how dark/light it goes on just by how much pressure you put when applying. I use lighter towards the front and need it darker on the ends, this does the job every time!

yes, i think this one will work for you. you should use this one together with your other brow pencils. use the other one for major strokes, and then use this one for edges, corners and the details. the color blends pretty well with other pencil color. i've tried different brown, it works pretty well.

Yes, I think that it would. I have dark brown hair with almost black brows and fair skin, and although our skin colors are different, a cross between charcol and taupe is the closest I'd come to finding the right color for myself before trying this. I was skeptical that anything "universal" could really work but gave it a try due to it's high ratings and my own desperation. I'm glad that I did. Hopefully you will be too.

I'd give this one a try. I was a skeptic about the universal shade but find that it works for my dark eyebrows. I have some grey ones too plus thanks to some bad genetics I only have a half of an eyebrow on one side. I can use this product to pretty much make it look like like I have a matching pair. And I am impressed so far on how long it stays on.

It's pretty water resistant. Not sure about the gray coverage but since I have fairly blonde brows and it colors them a light-medium brown color, I would assume it'd do a pretty good job with gray. You can try it out at a Sephora location. Or you can buy it and if it doesn't work for you, return it.

gray but u can't get definition or design your brow if
they r sparse or not perfectly perfect

your question only show the first two line. so let me answer what i can see. yes, if u sweat, and wipe ur brow, it'll come off.
and u should use it together with another regular brow pencil. use the other one for major strokes, like to cover gray brow, then use this one for corners, edges, and the details. i don't think it's a good idea to use this to replace ur brow pencil, it's very thin, and will need many strokes if ur brows are thick, and it'll use up very quickly.

Yes, it does cover. Need to apply in quick short strokes for best result.
