Cupcake is one of my faves too, so another one you might like is Birthday Cake. It looks crazy bright in the tube, and it's definitely more colorful than Cupcake, but it's a surprisingly wearable violet-fuschia. Beautiful if you want something a little more dramatic, yet feminine and pretty.

I ran out of a no-color gloss with SPF in it. Bought cheaper versions...they are a waste of money. This is a product line that I'm not allergic to.

Yes, these glosses do last. I have naturally dark pink-red lips (handy, unless I want to try light lip colors), and these glosses are the only ones that I've used where the color stays on and actually covers my natural lip color. They last especially long if you use a lip liner first (for example, I use urban decay's clear "Ozone" lip liner so I don't have to worry about matching liners to lip colors). When I use the two together, I can go 3-5+ hours without needing a touch-up.

I apply a couple times a day during my normal 8 hour work day. It is longer lasting than other ones I have tried. Reapply maybe every 2 hrs??? that's with drinking after applying

I use wild honey. It's so pretty, it's a nice light rose/pink color with subtle gold-shimmer. I would definitely recommend that for you. I got wild honey for my sister as well and she's blond with fair skin and it looks perfect on her. :)

I have naturally dark-ish lips and bought this in Chiffon to achieve the nude look. Without having to layer anything underneath, this effectively makes my lips lighter. It has a thick texture and the color applies solidly. So no, I do not consider this a sheer gloss.

I have to disagree with the other ladies. I don't think this lipgloss is sheer. If you use BE regular Buxom lipgloss they are not like that...they are more like the BE "full color" lipglosses. These 100% Natural lipglosses are thick in texture and you definitly do not need a lipstick under it.

The Buxom applicator is a sponge, and this has a brush. Also, there is a tingly, "plumping" effect with the Buxom, but I don't notice any visible plumping, just the sensation. I prefer the BE 100% Natural gloss to the Buxom in terms of color and applicator.

This gloss doesn't have the cool tingly feeling that you get with Buxom. I find it much thicker and stickier than Buxom. I prefer Buxom to this one and they also have way more color selection

In answer to your question the buxom line is a lip plumper rather then just a regular gloss, the buxom lip-gloss plumps with a cool tingling effect, i have tried the buxom line and i will say that i am not impressed, as plumpers go it is a very thick gloss, not to mention sticky and i am not at all a fan of the smell. while they have lovely shades i feel that if you were looking for a lighter more effective lip plumping gloss i would go with "lip venom" by Du Wop. Don't be put of by the price, it is the best lip plumper i have ever tried, but frankly i would buy it just for the smell, it smells like spicy Cinnamon, like big red or red hotts. Or if your looking for just a regular lip gloss Sephora offers many wonderful cost effective brands, i have never been a fan or the bare escentuals brand. Good luck hope i was able to help.

rose is more of a mauve sheer.if you are looking for a nice pink shade try cupcake and fruit cocktail these 2 colors can be bought right now at be.com and qvc.they are a little more creamy color than rose.

I am asian with medium brown hair color. I use the Pomegranate color and it's just beautiful! It is a true berry red color with a hint of pink and it's not too dark or too sheer. The sparkles are more of a shimmer instead of a frosted look which adds to the glossy wet look on my lips. You just have to try this color to know what I'm talking about!

If you wear lip gloss and your hair touches it, it will stick. It is lip gloss, therefore it will be moist and hair will stick to it. I don't think it is possible to find a gloss that repels hair...
