Questions & Answers for Dr. Brandt Skincare pores no more® vacuum cleaner™

Question
Clogged Pores
I'm 23 with very oily skin. It gets worse in the humidity and heat. I noticed that my pores are getting very clogged. I have tiny bumps that come up during the day right around my nose area. After washing and waking up the next day they seem to go away, but they'll come back after a day in the heat. Sometimes they'll form into deep pimples (the ones that hurt sooo much). I also have blackheads around my nostril area. Will this product help unclog my pores and help me clear up?

I've got the same exact skin problems, and live in a similar climate- and really cannot tell you how awesome this product is!
I'll note that it took 2 uses before I was fully amazed, and I do leave it on a bit
longer than the box suggests for the best results. Because it's a bit pricey,
it never hurts to see if your local Sephora has a sample for you to try :)

A product with Benzoyl Peroxide (rather than Salicylic acid) works better for blackheads. Pores no more didn't do it for me. I'd see a dermatologist and get some sulfur cleanser, changed my skin for the better and stayed that way.

It does help.
You use this product about twice a week, try not to use it everyday since it's pretty strong and it might dry your skin too much.
You can use a daily facial wash that cleans out pores, I suggest a deep cleansing wash. Ask a Sephora associate for your best choices.
I did notice a significant difference after using it for the first time. My pores not only appeared smaller and clean but my face felt softer and smoother.
If you have doubts about this product feel free to consult a dermatologist and ask them about this product. Hope that helps.

Yes-it sounds like this will help your problems that you're having with your skin.

Also, for daytime wear, I'd recommend Dr. Brandt's Pores No More Pore Refiner. It makes for a good daytime, under makeup pore refiner that also fights off acne. The combo of using the Vacuum Cleaner at night, and the Pore Refiner during the daytime, has really helped my skin.

No..its a treatment that loosens and uncloggs nasty dirty pores. I use it maybe three times a week and my skin is looking Fab. A little goes a long way as you only apply a very small this film of product to areas you want to clean out.. for me it is my nose and chin. worth every penny.

This product is not a cleanser, to be used after. It is a mask. It works over time to remove that black clogged oil in your pores that have become hard and will not loosen by themselves. It is not an instant product. But I have notice a huge difference in about one week. COOL!

No, vacuum cleaner is more of a mask and should be used after cleansing your skin. Try pores no more cleanser prior to using vacuum cleaner and if you have stubborn blackheads and congestion, try the dr brandt microdermabrasion first to enhance the results greatly!

Question
Does this only help with blackheads?
I don't have very much trouble with blackheads, but I have a lot of congestion in the chin area. Some of it is whiteheads, but some of it is these strange bumps which do not appear to be pimples but contain a hard puss if i attempt to extract it. However I know that squeezing and picking at my face is the worst thing I can do, so I was wondering if this product would help clear up my problem?

I'm having the same issue as you, i went to the store looking for the product and the counter lady recommend it. I'm still testing the product to see if it works what i can say so far is that it does work if the pimple is extracted and after cleaning it put this product on; it will dry it. next day i have a little brown thing that with a gentle scrub falls out and i look like i didn have it. But in my chin since my pimples are inside the skin seems does not work much. at the moment i have one that i have being treating with this but i feel has made it bigger because is inside the skin blow it and those not have like an open pore to let the thing out. Still early to really give a complete answer but in a week i will put the final coment. STILL IN TESTING

Personally, I felt that this didn't help with my blackheads but it helped me more with my acne/pimples. It helped to unclog my pores to allow acne-killing oxygen into my pores to kill the bacteria and giving me a clearer complexion instantly. I think the only way to effectively removed blackheads is by using a blackhead extracting tool. There is no "serum" that would magically make them fall out of your pores. I've probably tried hundreds of products but none has ever done that.

I would give it a try and see. If it doesn't then just return it.
I swear by the "blackhead/whitehead" remover from sephora! I love this thing!! I have tried other brands, and theirs is the best. It removes those little hard things you are talking about and doesn't leave you with scars. I steam my face first then go at it with my "picker" and a magnifying mirror. You won't believe the stuff you'll find.

The thing about this product is it's pretty much a mask treatment and should be used with all the pores no more products to get the best effect. It's great for sucking all the oil, dirt and impurities from the skin. If you have troubles with oily skin these products help maintain a nice complexion but you have to remember that healthy skin comes from within and lots of water and vitamins A, C, and E are essential to beautiful skin. If you find your skin gets oily throughout the day I find the Benefit get even powder lasts pretty long as well as the bare minerals mineral veil for touch ups throughout the day.

This is a mask. You only use this once or twice a week depending on how sensitive your skin is. SO yes, it can be drying but not the flaky, kind of drying. when you are looking for a product to help with black heads, this is the one with the best results. Remember to always use an oil-free moisturizer after .
