I use a basic box store eye pencil sharpener. A tip for sharpening your eye pencils - put your eye pencil sharpener and pencils in the freezer and then sharpen. Your eye pencils will last longer and you get a nice clean point on the pencils without wasting so much of your pencils when sharpening them.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Please use one that's made for sensitive inner rim/waterline. Tarte makes two different kinds and Buxom makes a good one too. Also Laura Geller makes an exceptional one.

Hi,

Sephora sells a variety of sharpeners that work perfectly. Look for one that contains the shavings in an enclosed section, plus one that has a duo size. They're very inexpensive and last until they get lost. Sephora makes as nice duo sharpener as does NARS and UD (Grind House). DuWop had a great duo sharpener, too, that sanitizes tips as it sharpens. I've found a good sharpener with really sharp blades protects from product loss and drag caused by poor sharpeners or dull blades.

Hope this helps.

The Sephora brand dual sharpener is great, it is only $3, works for both sizes of Sephora pencils, also has a lid so you don't end up with shavings everywhere, I have never had a problem sharpening the Nano pencils.

I can't remember if I bought it from Sephora (but it's the most likely place), but I found a sharpener with two options and the smaller one works fine. Also, you can check wherever art supplies are sold. Colored pencils are often thinner than regular pencils and the corresponding sharpener has worked for me in the past (I just have a habit of misplacing them).

I think that the liner stays on fairly well. I wear contacts and tend to rub my eyes several times a day if they are dry or itchy. Normally by the end of the day I have very little liner or shadow left on my eyes but I have found that this liner stands up better to my rubbing than most products.

Hi There!
Yes, I agree. Finding an eyeliner in a plum or purple shade with good pigmentation can really be a challenge! Many are so dark that they actually look brown on the eyes after application. I would recommend the Stila Smudgestick in the color Purple Tang. It is more expensive but in this case you really do get what you pay for. The purple tang is a beautiful and bright metallic purple. And, it's the best purple colored eye liner I have found in pencil form. Good luck with your search.
