Hello - After reading the fabulous reviews, I would like to order Givenchy's Photo Perfexion Foundation.....but I'm not sure what color. I am a long time Lancome Teint Idole foundation wearer. My color there was "Buff 2w" although now they changed their formula to 24 hour, I believe my shade would be "140 Ivoire N" . Can you tell me what shade in Givenchy would be best? I'm leaning towards the Perfect Praline. Thanks much!!!

Does it cover well?

Hi, I have some acne on my forehead and i was wondering if it covers imperfections well. I'm debating between this foundation and Makeup Forever's HD foundation or Make Up Forever's matte foundation, which one would you recommend? If you have any other suggestions please tell me.

Its relatively sheer, but the nice thing about it is that it is buildable. I have leftover hyper pigmentation from acne and I have to build the foundation to cover. I also use Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer on top. its amazing for acne marks

This foundation has great coverage! It feels really light and sheer, but covers really well. I have a lot of redness in my skin, and this covers it up without me having to apply a ton of it.

I have acne and mild rozacea. I am blonde with fair, oily skin and I love this product it is so easliy applied and covers well for me. I always go for moderatly easy natural look and this is it .....Try it!!

I've used both and the Armani is a much sheerer coverage and has a more dewy finish. I prefer givenchy for more long lasting coverage because I have some redness and imperfections as well as some greasy areas to cover as the day wears on.

I don't know the shade of your sample, but if you can visit a store, they have lots of shades, so trying it on is the best way to find the perfect match.

I use this foundation and I have reactive redness/flareups and this does wonderful on my cheek area and helps keep it moisturized. I have fair skin and I am a 1 the perfect ivory. It does a great job concealing redness and evening out skin tone

I use BareMinerals foundation in 1N (Fairly Light), but I'm thinking about switching to this because I tend to sweat off powder foundation in the summer. I have a light complexion and hazel eyes and got #4 Perfect Vanilla. It's too light for me. I was leaning towards Praline but will probably go to Sephora at the Mall to pick a different shade.

You should be able to go on the the Givenchy website and do a location finder of all the stockist registered there. Pick on and give them a ring if they are not close by. Let them know what you are looking for. Most Beauty Adviser work on some sort of commission base so they are hungery to cultivate a new client. Which should translate into great customer service. If you hit a road block with one move on to the next one some wonderful beauty guru out there is just dieing to help you, I promise. Let me know how it works out!

I wear Fresh Ginger in this line and 145 in MUFE (which I also like a lot!).
