No, this is not at all rich. The scent is the key smell for most Fresh products - citrus & woodsy with a hint of sweet.

The smell is like a bitter smell...but it is really stong and gross smelling. I put it on after my shower and then had to get back in the shower becaue the smell was nauseating. The lotion is rich and creamy though...ha.

It is rich but not the kind of rich that would make you greasy. It absorbs quickly. The smell is a BIG turn off for me especially since it LINGERS. However, it works.

This product is not super rich at all. If you want super rich try Kiehls creme de corps. Also I'm not so sure I'd recommend for sensitive skin. It does have soy in it and I have a soy allergy and put it all over my body. I didnt read the ingredients before putting on. Also the scent is very strong. Very lemony, so if you have a sensitive sniffer then don't break your bank with this!!

Hi,

This smells like lemon, with a touch of a nut, which is apparently almond. It smells good. I think people who mentioned the smell in reviews were just comparing it to other Brown Sugar Body and Face products. This does smell differently, but it smells good, perhaps like a lemon meringue pie. It's not too heavy, but the scent is there. It's an exceptional cream. A friend and I both used this today and she has very sensitive skin. It didn't bother her but a patch test is always a good idea for people with allergies and/or sensitive skin. This is extremely hydrating. Hope this helps.

PS As far as the scent goes, my husband started looking for food, so it's definitely a good smell. He said he really liked the smell. The other thing I want to mention is that he also noticed that the hand that I used to apply the cream was very very soft.

This is a very rich moisturizer with a fresh, sugary lemon scent. This is appropriate for most skin types. If you are very sensitive, we recommend a patch test before applying all over.

I found the body cream to be a very strong lemon in scent compared to the Brown Sugar Eau de Parfum. I have not tried the body polish.

yes the scent is this same and it stays on your skin if you use both right after each other, so you will be naturally perfumed. It smells great.

This is the perfect complement! If you love the sensory experience of the polish, this should be your go to moistuizer. If you love the polish and decide not to follow with this moisturizer, choose an unscented formula. Otherwise be ready for a clash of the senses.

The scent is in the same family, but I find it to be a bit more intense and lingering. The scrub seems to be a bit fresher although similar.

Hi,

The tube I have smells differently from the scrub. I went back and smelled them both after reading the answer left from the previous responder. While both smell edible, my scrub is way more sugary smelling that the cream. We're on vacation, but when we get home, I'm going to take them both into Sephora to make sure they're both okay because they definitely smell differently, although related.

Sorry I can't be more exact. Now I have my own question about it after reading the other responder's comment.

The ingredients list has water as the first ingredient, but there are a number of oils in it as well (sweet almond, apricot, etc).
