Question
How can you get bottled perfume into this?
This is great in thoery but perfume bottles dont exactly unscrew or anyhting. What i would love to know is how do i get the perfume out of the bottle. (by the way i wear pink sugar so thats the kind of bottle im wondering about.)

this comes with a funnel. so you squirt your perfume into the funnel, into the rollerball. the rollerball pops out for filling. it's super easy. i would recommend this product!

I sprayed mine into the vial - literally held the nozzel to the open vial - it wasn't messy and actually quite easy

The bottom part of the roller ball dispenser covers a clear tube that you unscrew. You put the funnel in the top of the clear tube and spray your bottled perfume in the funnel. Hold it close to the funnel so there is no over-spray & spray gently. The funnel will collect the sprayed fragrance & funnel it right down into the roller-ball tube. You then screw in the clear tube to the top of the dispenser (silver part) and cover the clear tube with the bottom half of the dispenser (black part with "Sephora" on it). When you want to replace the fragrance, clean it out with alcohol to get rid of the scent (make sure you also roll the "ball" with alcohol to clean it).

It's actually pretty easy to get the product into the container. It comes with a funnel. I've loaded up rollerballs with spray and non-spray colognes.

It comes with a funnel. You will spill a tiny bit of perfume but I figure that is just gravity working. The funnel really does work and help though.

The rollerball comes with a funnel so you can actually spray your perfume into the funnel and it will go into the bottle. It may take a few minutes, but I think that's the way you will have to do it.

I know ! I wondered about that too. How the heck can a person get their perfume out of their perfume bottle into the rollerball. Well, it's easy. The rollerball comes with a funnel and what you do is just "spray" your perfume from the perfume bottle into the funnel into your rollerball. It's easy and quick. : )

The rollerball tip unscrews from the liquid-holding compartment. You fill it by spraying your fragrance into the little silver funnel that you have nestled inside the liquid-holding compartment. Once it is full you take out the funnel then screw the rollerball tip back on.

Really simple. Once it runs out or you get sick of the scent, just empty the little container inside the outer black casing and wash it out, put new stuff in, and thats that.

There are no instructions on how to use this, so I did a bit of picking and prodding before I figured it out. (Okay, so I got some help from my sister.) You unscrew the bottom glass portion after you remove the outside covering. It comes with a little funnel, and it's actually pretty easy to get your cologne into the rollerball. The rollerball does a good job in distributing the cologne.

I didn't need to unscrew the top to my Very Irresistible by Givenchy. I just sprayed the perfume out of the bottle into the little funnel (don't spritz it really hard or you'll be shooting the perfume all over the place - just gently spray the perfume into the funnel) and put the rollerball cap back on. It's easier than you'd think.

It is real easy to fill the glass tube. You take the black sheath off and unscrew the silver top which is about an inch and a half long.You use the funnel they give you to fill it. If you don't remove the black sheath, you could get the cologne down inside and then it would leak out. Hope this answers your question.

The cylinder is 4 1/2 inches long and about 1/2 inch across. I'm not sure how much product it holds, but I'd say it holds a sufficient enough amount that it would last for a bit before you had to fill 'er up.

It holds about 0.25-.30 oz - basically, depending on how much you put on, it's plenty to use every day for over a month. If you don't use it daily, of course it'll last a lot longer. I filled mine before went on a 2 wk vacation, used it at least 2 weeks before I left, daily while I was gone, and still have about half a vial left. So - what's that? About 6-8 wks worth?

The refillable rollerball is 4 1/2" long from tip to tip. It would probably hold an ounce of perfume. After all how much do we really want it to hold. An ounce is plenty to carry around in your purse. When you are at home, you can use your regular bottle of perfume. And when you are out, you use your rollerball. We don't need to rollerball a lot on. Just enough to make ourselves alluring. : )

To fill, pull off the cap and hold the silver roller-ball portion while you pull off the bottom black casing. Unscrew the glass tube from the roller-ball and use the included funnel to fill with perfume.

I can't get the glass cylinder to unscrew at all. I'm afraid I'll break it near the join, where it's weakest. Guess I'll have to go to the store to ask! Good luck, everybody.

The top will pull apart, meaning the bottom black part pulls off to reveal the glass cylinder inside. The cylinder then screws off. You have to use the funnel to either pour perfume inside or spray into it from your other perfume bottle.

You just unscrew the top and fill it like a regular atomizer. It's pretty sturdy, so I don't think you can break it.

Taking it apart isn't as hard as putting it back together, just remove the lid, then gently pull the black Sephora tube off. Then slide the silver tube off the glass by gently pulling it over the plastic roller ball section. Finally unscrew the plastic rollerball and fill. You can do it using gentle force. I don't think it is too breakable.
This is where I had a hard time, putting it back together.
The soft semi opaque little plastic tube-like thing goes just inside the black lid. The silver tube slides back over the plastic screw-on rollerball section that attaches to the glass. Put the silver thing on with the ridged side towards the glass. Then you can put the black plastic Sephora tube on over the glass. When all these things are done the different sections provide the tension to hold the black plastic bottom and lid on.
Hope that helps, I know it sounds like a lot of nonsense, but after much trial and error that is how I got it back together!

If it doesn't hold 0.25 oz then it comes close. I have a glass rollerball for some Givenchy perfume I've got and it's 0.3 oz. It looks like it's about the same size as this refillable rollerball.

Can you use this for lotions or creams?
I love rollerball eye cream for the delicate tissue around my eyes, but cannot find eye cream besides de-puffing versions that come in rollerball form. I'd like to use my regular eye cream in a refillable rollerball version...has anyone used this particular product with anything besides liquid perfume?

Does it work with scented oils?
I don't like synthetic perfumes, so I use essential oils for fragrance. Has anyone tried filling this rollerball with oil? There seem to be a lot of problems with perfume leaking out of this rollerball, but I wonder if a thicker oil would be less likely to leak. Any experiences?
