I actually used the Active Radiance cream and didn't like it. It did not have the same effect as the Serum. I'm not sure if I used it right, either. One box said to massage it onto dampened skin. The sample I got (afterwards) said to massage it onto dampened skin and then rinse. ? Either way, I didn't care for it and won't buy it again. It, too, is pricey. The serum, I think, is more highly concentrated in Vitamin C. It is lighter and absorbs easily. After washing your face, massage the serum into your skin. Wait at least 1 minute before applying your moisturizer. If you are referring to the Essential C Daily moisturizer, though: I didn't like that either. It has spf, but left my skin rather greasy feeling. Thankfully, I only tried a sample and didn't purchase it. Instead, after the Serum, I have been using Philosophy's Miracle Worker. There is no spf in Miracle Worker and you'll either need to add one or use a foundation with spf. Using the Active Radiance Serum and Miracle Worker together, twice a day, has made a huge difference in my skin. It is brighter and softer and I could tell a difference in my skin within a week of using both products.
