Do you have dry or oily skin?

I think it's pretty safe to use on the cheeks but I would suggest against it. It isn't exactly highly pigmented on the skin, just enough for the lips.

The bag measures 12 inches across the bottom zipper area, 13 and 3/4 inch on each side from top to bottom and 18 inches across the opening.

That is the beauty of a tarte lip sheer! They have the properties and feeling of a balm and color like lipstick, but not as strong. These lip sheers are not stains.

These lip sheers are not stains. They are closer to a balm but have sheer color, much like a very sheer, matte lipstick.

No, the pigment isn't very intense, especially with these colors. It has great moisturization and spf protection but for more color look elsewhere.

definitely try darker colors. I am very fair skinned and the colors are still too light for my taste.

It is about the size of a grocery shopping bag, slightly smaller. It becomes a collapsible zippered pouch. The dimensions of the open bag are approximately 12" x 14" and 6" at the bottom.

I would be honest and up front about it and ask a sales associate. Usually they're pretty cool and wouldn't want a free item they couldn't sell back in stock I'm guessing.
