That's odd. My local Sephora gave me a sample with no issues. It wasn't a standard "sample" from AmorePacific, but they were able to make one just for me...

If you have more than 100 points, you can get a deluxe sample of it online.

This is in response to the Sephora staff member's statement above. I have never been given a sample in the store and trust me I have asked. I have been told that the stores do not keep samples on hand and I have never been offered a custom sample from a full size. There are many products that I would love to try before I buy and I never knew this was supposed to be available in the stores. I spend a lot of money at Sephora and I am rather upset to learn that staff members in the store should have offered me more assistance. This is why I stopped shopping in the stores and only buy online. I appreciate the samples I get from my online purchases. I just wish there was more of a variety online. I seem to see the same ones over and over. Also,only about 60% of the time I will receive the actual sample I add to my basket when I order. The rest of the time I get random samples that I never ordered and am not interested in.

Call your local Sephora store to see if they carry this product. If so, go and get a sample. If you don't have a store near you, remember the generous return policy on Sephora.com - purchase it and try it.

Have you tried going to the store and asking, or if you don't have a local store, maybe "contact" the on-line store???

Go into a Sephora and ask! They ususally have them pre-made and if not they can put some in a little samply bottle for you.

Go to the store. In fact, when I went in today, to purchase the full bottle, there were deluxe samples available. At least at my store. Go in asap, and ask for the deluxe sample. If they don't have that, they will at least give you a smaller one. Sephora gives samples of virtually EVERYTHING you want. You can go in there and get like 5 + different samples if you want. :)

I got a very generous sample as a 100-point VIB bonus, & there is NO "reservoir". If you turn the bottle upside down, then right side up, then open it, there will be no powder at all in the cap. After reading some of the answers to the question about how to dispense the product, I tried turning the bottle upside down & opening it while it was in that position. Big mistake! Powder all over the place. Fortunately, I had put a piece of clean printer paper under the bottle, so I was able to save almost of all of what I spilled. Don't know if the full size has some kind of reservoir, but the sample definitely did not. Having said that - the best way to use this very fine powder is (1) cleanse face with your usual cleanser, but do not dry your face completely (leave skin fairly damp); (2) dry your hands thoroughly; (3) with the bottle right side up, open it & tap a small amount (the size of a large pea works for me) into your hand & then (4) either add a drop or 2 of water to the powder in your hand, work into a light paste & then massage onto your face OR just apply the powder from your hand directly onto damp skin & then massage. All this sounds like more hassle than it really is - the whole process just takes a couple of minutes - & the product does leave skin soft & smooth without irritation. Plus the 100-point sample is incredibly generous - a little of this product goes a very long way.

A lot of people, including myself, use significantly less than what is pre-measured. All you have to do is put the amount that is right for you into the palm of your hand, and follow the instructions on how to use this product.

When you turn the bottle over it dispenses the fine powder into the cap. I use the product in the shower, drop a few droplets of water into the pwder mix and you are ready.

A couple of tries will help you decide what works for you. A pea sized amount works for me. Add a bit more if that's not enough to spread over your entire face. It doesn't need an exact scientific measurement to work.

I can't fully explain the system, but if you tip the bottle over with its cap on, the bottle automatically pours out only a small amount in to the cap. You take off the cap (with the bottle upside down) and pour whats in the cap into your hand. Nothing extra escapes the bottle when its open and upside down. And the little that is in the cap is plenty. A little goes a long way.

Just pour into your cupped hand. Then use your free hand to drop just wee bit of water. Mix and apply to face. You don't need much!

Keep bottle upright. Flip it upside down once. Take off lid and tap power into hand.

Turn it completely upside down in one relatively quick move. It may look like more than necessary is coming out, but this stuff really seems to last a long time using that method.

you just tip it over once to 'prime'. i can usually feel the powder shift. you can also give it a gentle shake to make suer. then tip it back up right (i usually shake again to resettle the product), then one more time over and into your hand. it usually dispenses a $.25 size amt.

I don't remember if the product labeling indicates that you shouldn't use it every day, but there have been times (when I've been wearing more makeup than my usual routine) when I've felt like I needed extra cleansing. This is the only product I've used that is gentle enough to use every day! And, I think if you start, you'll find that after several days'/evenings' worth of use that you won't need to use it every day anymore. Hope that helps!

This is a very gentle exfoliator. I don't need to wait to apply products after use but I have normal-oily skin. Test a small area on the side of your cheek to be sure but unless you have sensitive skin you will probably be fine mositurzing right away.

Wait until your skin is dry before putting on any products after. (About one minute or so.)

I use moisturizer right after I use the product. The product is very gentle.

I always used moisturizer right after the peel because my cheeks dry out quickly. However, I found I could wait longer than usual because the treatment peel actually did get rid of all the dead skin cells on the surface of my face and it is a very gentle peel. Another issue: I always had a problem with Hope in a Jar because I found it was quite greasy on my combination skin. See how your skin reacts to that moisturizer after using the peel...you might want to switch to a lighter moisturizer to use post-peel.

It's not a cleanser. It's an exfoliator. You should have clean skin before using.

I liked the idea of a plant based powder cleanser for exfoliation and deep cleaning so I bought the Bare Minerals version. It arrived in a bottle that was only about 3/4 full. So I felt a little ripped off. I tried the cleanser and it smelled so much like actual mud/dirt that it made me naseaus. It also didn't seem to do anything. I returned it. I got a sample of the Amore Pacific treatment enzyme peel and I loved it! It doesn't take much to lather up, so even though it's expensive it will last. It also does just what I wanted. It exfoliates and deep cleans but it's super gentle-no scratchy anything. It also doesn't make your skin feel dried out afterwards, just clean and smooth. I just bought the full size bottle. Hope that helps!

Hi, I have used both and I definitely like the bare minerals better, the Amore Pacific was great at first but then it started giving me whiteheads all over my face and they are very hard to get rid of, I have one on my eyelid that I have had for months and cant get rid of and I know its from the AP enzyme peel cause its the only thing I used to wash my face that was different. So I say stay with what u know is safe. These whiteheads I got from AP are extremely hard to get rid of. I have never had any problems with using any BE products, even with my clarisonic. Be careful using this enzyme peel. Others have had problems with it too. btw I have oily/combo skin, fair skin and am 42. Hope this helps.

I have both in my medicine cabinet right now! AmorePacific is easier to use, feels better, skin feels better. Overall even though this is expensive for me, I will continue to buy it!

Note this is not a cleanser- its a once a week exfoliator treatment. using it too often can make your skin flake and peel- so you really cant compare them.

This peel is very gentle...I use it almost every day. I also use a "strong" peel once or twice a week. I am in love w/ the Juice Beauty Green Apple peel but I am sure there are others out there that will give you the results you are looking for.

I have acne scars too, but i dont think this product is helping at reducing them. I only use this for exfoliation. but AmorePacific does make something called a pigment modifier that might help. you can only get it at a neiman marcus or bloomingdales though.

I really love this product and I hope that you do too. I have oily, acne prone skin and as a result, have many dark spots from my acne.

I've been using the Enzyme Peel from AmorPacific for two weeks and it has lightened most of my acne scars, of course the darker ones are going to take a little longer to lighten...

What I also like about this product is that its not abrasive, it doesn't overly dry out my skin and it leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It also has a nice smell. Even if its a little pricey, I feel that this product will last you a long time! As I mentioned before, I've been using it for two weeks, and I haven't even used a 1/4 of the bottle yet.

PS-Don't forget to use sunscreen! The sunscreen from this line is also good. It penetrates all 3 layers of skin and doesn't leave a oily feeling behind.

I think this is a good product for you if reducing the appearance of blemishes and clearing pores is your priority. but as I have included in the review of this product, it is really more of a cleanser than an intensive peel, by that, I am referring to its texture. it's got a cleanser type of foaming action going on when you lather it with water. I myself am dealing with the same problems as you do, and I know that this "peel" alone isn't going to do the work. I have a serum to correct my redness, and also some alpha hydroxy cream to expediate my skin's turnover. Then during the day, I use sunscreen to prevent further redness from occurring. So you do want to consider including more products to help your skinoverall.

I would definitely say this product works well for those types of issues. Unfortunately as an Adult I still get Deep Pimples (Cysts) and infected in-grown hairs as a result of a condition called Chronic Folliculitis which causes the body to mistake some of the hairs as foreign objects and attack them which causes minor Infections (Pimples). Using this peel in combination with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple wash has created quite a drastic difference in my complexion.

haha nope, thats one of the problems I had :P dunno why they changed it .... with the full size, you turn the cap counterclockwise and will not see the product ! you have to then flip the bottle on top of your hand and product will come out of the bottle :) ...hope this helped !

It's the same bottle only bigger but the inside has a plastic cap that makes you control how much product you pour out.

I have both, and no. But I never use the cap to measure on the full size, it dumps too much product out. I find I only need about 1/2 that amount. I eye-ball it on my hand.

I haven't used the full size, but there's no reservoir in the 100-point sample (which I do have). I found that out the hard way ;-) Open the container & just tap a small amount of the powder into your hand, & then either add a drop or 2 of water & work into a thin paste, then massage into cleansed skin, or leave your face damp after cleansing & apply/massage the powder directly onto damp skin.

I used it with my clarisonic and the next day when I woke up I found out I had broke out in whiteheads all over, even on my eyelids. I know it was the peel cause its the only thing I did different from my routine. Be careful. Its now two months later and I still have three whiteheads that I just can not get rid of and one is on my eyelid. And yes it is a whitehead on my eye lid, I had it checked and because its on my eyelid it cant be popped or removed so I just have to wait it out. I am very annoyed that this product that I at first loved did this to my skin so be careful. I just wanted others to know so the same doesnt happen to u. I cant even wear eyeshadow cause u can tell its there and I really dont want to irritate it and make it worse or larger heaven forbid..lol, it looks like it shrunk a bit but it sure is taking looong to go away.

I haven't tried it, my skin is sensitive and I think both at the same time would leave me face a little raw, but much thicker, more resiliant, acne scarred skin might find some benefit, since you've been using it so often anyway you might be fine. I also break out easily, so I like to finish washing my face with a tried and true cleanser, so I'll use the enzyme treatment, and then the clarisonic with a gentle or acne cleanser, and I get fantastic results. I'm starting to second guess whether or not I really need to get a professional chemical peel to rid my blackheads and scars

Yes, you *can* but I don't know if you would want to use them concurrently. Since the AmorePacific Enzyme stuff does not have granular jagged exfoliating pieces, technically it is fine to use with the Clarisonic.

HOWEVER, I do wonder what results would be given by using a gentle, low-foaming cleanser with the Clarisonic and then FOLLOWING this with the Enzyme Peel. Hmm... I think I might go do this tonight! :)

ps - I love my Clarisonic (I have the Mia). It is BY FAR the best beauty investment I have ever made.

I have since ordered & received the Clarisonic Mia & it says you can use it with these types of cleansers, the chemically exfoliating ones, just not the ones with "shells" or more rugged exfoliating grains. It does say, however, that cleansers with the perfectly round exfoliators can be used with Clarisonic but I personally wouldnt do it because I'm sure Clarisonic alone is great & with the Amore it will be awesome. My skin needs this type of treatment & isn't sensitive but it may be too much for other people's skin type. Good luck guys! I'm still waiting for my Clarisonic to charge 24hrs:(

It's normal, they don't come filled to the top, dont know why. Be careful though if u have oily skin, this product actually gave me whiteheads on my face and eyelids and I still cant get rid of them. It was definately this product cause its the only thing I did different in my face routine. I think this enzyme peel brings to the surface deep skin impurities but they come in forms of white and blackheads instead of pimples which would be easier to get rid of. Just be careful, It may not happen the first time u use it but eventually it may. To me I was using it a few times a week and after 2 weeks I got hit with the whiteheads so now I dont use it anymore.

That is how much you are supposed to get, so don't worry about being ripped off. (The product is measured by weight, not by how much it fills the bottle.)

Since it's a powder product, there will inevitably be some settling -- some, but not as much as you have described. My purchase was full up to the last 1/4" of the bottle. Perhaps you accidentally got a tester or a return?
