answer 1
I love all of Kate's products and she has made my acne disappear (believe me, I tried everything), but this product is the only one of hers I returned. I think her glycolic polisher left on overnight would be good (feels a little greasy, but the next morning-wow!). Murad also makes and acne mask I like a little better than this and from what I remember the price was a little less. If you do try this and like it, I think the tube would last about a year, making the price not bad. A little goes a long way. Have heard of people dabbing it over a blemish overnight with good results as well.

the mask will work very well for your acne and excess oil. you should be able to do it twice a week. and for your eyes, i would recommend something else since this shouldnt be put too close to your eye area - try the clinique all about eyes roller ball serum (its only $25 and lasts a long time, and keep it in the fridge - if its cold it will help reduces puffiness ever better!) good luck! and if you do have a little bit of extra cash - try the go clear system, the starter set it only $40 and would really compliment this mask =)

From the reviews i think this mask is a good choice for combination/oily acne prone skin. As the directions and other reviewers advised i would not recommend getting this close to the eye area as it may seriously irritate the delicate skin around your eyes. If its puffiness and dark-circles you are trying to get rid of try the following Sephora products...
1) Skyn Iceland Icelandic Eye Relief: This will help to control the puffiness and help to get rid of dark-circles
2) PTR Power K Eye-Cream: This is an investment but it works.... the vitamin k works effectively at reducing the appearance of dark circles and improving the blood circulation to the eye (which is the cause of these dark circles)
3) Murad Lighten and Brighten Eye Treatment: This will help to clear up those dark circles using vitamin C and hydroquinone it also helps in reducing under eye puffiness.
** with all three eye creams it very essential that you use a sunscreen to protect your face especially when using anything with hydroquinone in it. You should always use a sunscreen no matter what the weather is outside and if your are indoors or outdoors.

This mask did not work for me. I have combination skin and rarely break out. This mask did okay at making my blackheads lighter, but didn't make my skin look any brighter or healthy. I also have dark circles & puffy eyes, this did nothing for them. I get good results from the Body Shop masks. I like the Seaweed one and the Blue Corn for clearing blackheads. They are about $20 each. I have never found anything that helps my under eye circles or puffyness.

This isn't a mask I would use around the eyes. It's too strong for that. If you want to clear up dark circles you have to use other products and I don't have any to recommend since I don't have that issue yet. But this mask is great for clearing up old acne scars and preventing new breakouts from appearing. I like this mask in combination with the Treatment Toner. The mask is like the weekly treatment and the toner is the daily defense. Together they have really helped me on improving my skin.
