When I used this product I noticed I had a few rain drops on my face and could see it coming off my face. Also, according to clinique it says you have to reapply after towel drying, swimming, and perspiring. I do not think this is waterproof/ resistant.

I wore this sunscreen to a cheer camp I went to, and it worked perfectly! We were outside from 9:00AM to 9:00PM, and it was over 90 degrees the entire day. I was working out in the hot sun, and got very sweaty, I also was rubbing my face with my shirt a lot. By that night I was the only one who did not get sunburn on my face!

I found that this spf isn't very lightweight, it's pretty thick. So if you need a lightweight one, this one probably isn't the best bet.

This product is pretty thick. It is still spreadable though and it does absorb into your skin. If I had a problem with thich sunscreen breaking me out then I would be a little nervous to buy this one. Although, I had no problems with breaking out.

It seems to be pretty versatile. I have dry, fair skin, and I love it. I was introduced to it by a Korean friend with oily to combination skin, and he loved it. Oh, and it's gender neutral because -- the best thing -- it has no fragrance.

I have combination/oily skin (and sensitive skin that breaks out easily) and it works great. I skip the moisturizer in the morning and just use the sunscreen, which keeps my t-zone from getting too greasy, but still makes my cheeks soft and hydrated.

Question
Can I use this sunscreen or any sunscreen in general around the eye area?
I have the shiseido eye cream with spf but, I don't want to dish out $32 every time. Is it really necessary to have a sunscreen for your eyes? Can using a sunscreen for you face still give you protection from UVB/UVA rays?

I would use it sparingly around the eyes especially if you are going in the water. I used it on my son all over his face including eye area and he was fine. We did go in the water that day, so I don't know if it got in your eyes if it would burn?

I dont know if I should be doing this or not, but I use this around my eyes and it hasn't caused any problems. Of course, you want to be careful not to get it IN your eyes, so make sure you use a very tiny amount to prevent it slipping into your eyes as the day goes on.

I can never find Clinique ingredient listings online - argh! I've emailed them about other products, though, and was able to obtain ingredent lists. It was quite a hassle, though, as it took almost three weeks and they seemed very against emailing me the ingredients!!

I'd stop by your Sephora and check out the box (or a Clinique counter - just ask to see the ingredients on the side of the box.) Hope that helps!

I use this in lieu of a moisturizer. I use the Clinique dramatically different moisturizer during the winter and this in the spring, summer and fall. I add moisture surge on top to prevent drying out at the end of the day (all year round). I have rosacea too and have found this to not irritate my skin or make me redder than I already am.
