Questions & Answers for Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Body Cream

Question
I have two questions on this product: 1) anyone got a complete ingredient list? ; and 2) have you ever used this on your face?
I heard that Paula B. said the formulation for this SPF30 body moisturizer is identical to that for the matching SPF30 face moisturizer .. only you get 3X the product with this for pretty much the same price. Have you tried it on your face? Did it clog your pores? thanks!! xoxo

I read the same thing as you and YES it is exactly the same, use it on your face. I could not stand physical sunscreen re the whiteness, etc. and this is exactly the same as the face SPF 30, I tried both, and what a price! I also like the Kater Sommerville serum, chemical, SPF 55, but 2 oz are $45, making it five and a half times more expensive. This will do just fine.

It seems like the same product as per the ingredient listing, with that being said, the heavy consistency of the product may be a bit much for the face. I wouldn't suggest utilizing it unless you have skin type on the dryer side versus the oilier side unless you use a very small amount.

I do not have a product list, but I do have an anwer about using it on your face. I buy the face spf 30 for my face. That works very good and doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes. I know it is a bit of a choir to travel with two sun screens, but trust me it is worth it! I have been using this product for over 15 years and I never burn! All other sun screens I burn after 60 minutes and never with clinique.

You should probably get rid of it if has been 48 hrs. Or talk to a dermatologist before you apply again.

Stop using the product ASAP. You can apply some over the counter Hydrocortisone cream 1% to help calm your skin. Avoid the sun during this reaction and don't scratch your skin.

Question
Where is the SPF 50?
Last year, I ordered this body cream in SPF 50, but this year Sephora isn't offering the SPF 50. I have very fair skin and, therefore, always choose a high SPF (at least 45). The clinique website has an SPF 50 available; why is it no longer available through Sephora? Thank you for your response.

I don't know when this was asked, but the SPF 50 version of this is definitely available on the Sephora site. I was just comparing this and the SPF 50 version. It says it isn't in stock, though.

Question
What's the smell like?
I always look for suncreen lotions to not have that "typical sunscreen smell".
Does it have that scent or not?
How does it smell actually? thanks

It smells but not as strong as other sunscreens I've purchased from a drug store. I found that this was my most enjoyable sunscreen experience.

Question
Does this prevent tanning?
I tan very easily and I hate it when I do. I prefer my skin to be a bit light, so does this prevent tanning? Or at least reduce it?

Question
Ingrediens
May I ask you to send me the full list of ingrediens, as it is usually printed on the box or item itself? Because of some allergies I must examine it carefully before any purchase.
