Question
I Need Shade Advice
I have light/medium skin with cool undertones. I used BE in Medium, and Halo in Light. Can someone tell me which shade to get?

Tough call between Light Beige and Medium Beige. I think Medium Beige is closer to the Bare Escentuals shade you use, but Light Beige is closer to your Halo shade. I use Medium Beige and have light/medium skin, but the powder looks darker in the container than it does on (i.e. Light Beige would be way too light on me)

I think Light Beige would be closer to your Bare Minerals shade than Cameo.

Question
Can you use this mineral powder alone or do you have to use it with liquid foundation? I'm a latina but I have a light beige, combination complexion.
I am looking for a light mineral makeup that I can use alone after putting on my moisturizer. I want something that does not give give a cakey effect just a natural, minimal look to it.

I find that the nude liquid and powder together looks a little dry and cakey, however if I use just the liquid on my face, and then just the powder on my neck, chest, and just a little on my face's oily spots later in the day, I look perfect and natural. Unless you have perfect skin, I'd say this probably wont be enough face coverage on it's own -Good Luck!

Question
Color choice/texture
I have been using Bare Minerals Foundation and am in between the Fair shade (just a little chalky) and the Fairly Light shade (too "orange"). I like the concept of mineral makeup but am not sure if this will be a good product or not. With regards to coverage- I am looking for something to conceal some blemishes and that won't settle into fine lines. Thanks for your help.

I was using bare minerals also but with my oily skin it appeared caked on by the middle of the day and you could se all my pores. I recently switched to the dior and was a little nervous about it because my skin is so prone. I have some wrinkles around my eyes and some old acne marks. It's worked great for me so far. You get a natural look I feel without sacraficing coverage of problem areas. It didn't settle into the lines around my eyes or nose which was a big plus for me. And while it's not the biggest jar for the price I've bee surprised how long it's lasting me. Good luck!

it seems to have a +/- sign at the end with a few more items after the list of ingredients. In this line Bismuth Ox is present. I suppose that the +/- implies that it "may contain"... so if you are sensitive, don't get it.

Question
What type of brush should I use with this? I already have the BE kabuki brush, but I"m not sure if that...
is the best brush to use with this powder. What about the heavenly face brush from BE? It looks similar to the Dior one, but it's less expensive. Please help!

Any fuller brush, like a kabuki brush, would work for a fuller coverage. The Heavenly brush would work great too, if you are using it to set your makeup or you want it for lighter coverage. The Bare Escentual's brushes are pretty horrible, though. Sephora's brand of brushes are A LOT better, and they have a larger selection.

I have combination skin, but it does not make my skin oily on my "trouble spots" (t-zone). It feels "wet" when applying, but it's NOT oily wet.
