Mini Heated Eyelash Curler

Mini Heated Eyelash Curler

What it is:A travel-size heated eyelash curler. What it does:Keep your lashes looking lovely, even on the go, with the Sephora Brand Mini Heated Eyelash Curler. This handy little tool is perfect for curling stubborn straight lashes, anytime, anywhere. What else you need to know:Designed to be used after mascara application, this curler gently warms the waxes in mascara, resulting in a stronger, longer-lasting curl. Simply turn on, wait 15 seconds, place the comb directly onto lash line above lashes, gently lift and comb (don't wiggle) lashes into the desired shape (as you would with a mascara brush), hold for one or two seconds, then release. Repeat across lashline until the desired effect is achieved. For extra impact, place at tips of lashes, gently push up and back, hold for 2-3 seconds, then release.

I would say low to med heat, this is really for a qucik touch up or for travel. I have another brand that really get hot which I use at home and love love love just don't want to take the bigger unit with me when I travel which is a lot since I'm a flight attendant.

answer 6
There is a "patch" indicator on the back/top that while cooled is dark green but when at maximum heat turns light-lime green. It heats up very quickly and while it gets hot enough to force the lashes into position and holds that position, there is no threat of burning your skin or lashes. You can feel the warmth but it is not uncomfortable at all.

How do I use this?
I understand that I must use this over mascara, but it does not curl.
I am starting at the upper part of upper lash. I will not grip the lash.
What am I doing wrong?
Why doesn't it come with instructions?
Can I return it if I can't get it to work?

You have to start near the base of the lashes. Grab lashes with the curler as if you are applying mascara. Press curler onto lashes, rotate back, and hold for a couple of seconds. Move toward the tip of the lashes and repeat for more curl. Hope that's helpful.

The small one has too much space in between the coils. it doesnt grasp the eyelashes. i would go back to the store, spend the extra 5 bucks and get the full sized one. it works super well for me!~

You know, I was also curious as to why it does not come with any sort of instructions. That should be addressed.

I was told in store to use it before mascarra. Start at the base and run it up your lashes pushing them back. Of course, I haven't had any great sucess with it.

In my opinion, I would not spend the money on it. I bought it for myself and am not happy at all with it. It doesn't seem to work nearly as well as your old basic metal curler. I have not tried to return mine but from reading other reviews it seems you may be able to return it.

answer 5
What works for me is to start at the base of the lashes, like close to your eyes, and hold them against the curler for maybe 15-20 seconds. I have extremely stubbornly straight eyelashes and I find sometimes, I even have to hold it for 30 seconds, but they stay for hours after that. It takes a bit of time and a bit of maneuvering so try that!

Use the heated curler first and then mascara. It doesn't get that hot and more for a quick touch up or travel. I have a different unit for home which I love love love but don't want to take it with me when I travel since I'm a flight attendant and gone all the time. This mini is perfect for that.

This one is smaller, more compact in the body of it, but the part that curls the eyelashes is the same size. I had the more expensive one first, and now I have this one, because I accidentally broke the first one. I actually like this one better since it is smaller and fits in my makeup bag better. They both work exactly the same, do the same job and heat up the same. I'd save money and buy the smaller one.

The larger one has an on light that gets dimmer as the battery wears down. The smaller one has a green oval on the back that turns yellow when the curler is heated. They use the same size battery, AAA, and work about the same, but I prefer the larger size, as it curls slightly better.

Yes. I use it on mine and it does pretty good, however; my lower lashes are long enough that I can get the curler underneath them and give them a lift from that angle so I don't know how well it would work if the lashes aren't long enough to get underneath them...Hope this helps.

Buy the unit from hot lashes they have a website called lumious lashes which I've used for yrs and wouldn't be without it for home! The mini is great for travel or quick touch ups if your out and want to redo lashes. Either one is fine as far as I'm concerned

i don't think it would make your eyelashes fall out, it's not any more harsh than a regular curler. and the lady at the sephora store was telling me that our eyelashes are some of the strongest hairs on our body, but i don't know how accurate that really is.

For me, it works good. Not fabulous, but it does curl my lashes on the inner part where they always straighten out. The mascara is applied and then hardened before you use it so it heats the waxes. It works for me. I have long, straight lashes too. Each person is different so I can't promise it will work on you, but it's not that much of an investment and you can return it if it doesn't work.

When I used it, I felt that it was most effective when placed beneath the ends of the lashes to give it a nice curl. Otherwise, I don't think you're supposed to put it above the lashes because the comb doesn't exactly grip onto your lashes or anything.
