How does this look in photographs?
Does this foundation give your face that white glow usually associated with makeup that contains sunscreen? The SPF is pretty low, but is it substantial enough to show up with flash photography?

Absolutely NOT, DIORNUDE photographs very well. Matter of fact, thats how I knew it was the perfect shade for me. Ive had that problem in the past with my foundations appearing too light in photos

I've seen a few pictures of me with this on and none of them reflected white from the sunscreen. However, it does titantium dioxide which can reflect white if with a flash.

Yes. I love this foundation, but find myself always looking for one that won't rub off on my phone. It does rub off on my cell and land phone and I only use one pump on my face. Other than that, it is a beautiful foundation.

Yes, it does transfer. The formula is smooth and light to the touch, but the glow factor is border line oily looking. I find that it tends to melt a little in the hot summer, thus, moving it around on my face (and eventually transferring especially if you hug or lay your head onto a pillow).

Does Linen 021 turn darker after application?
I am light-skinned with yellow undertones. I am currently using MAC's studio fix in NC20, but it is slighty too dark for my neck. Does anyone know if this will be too dark too?

I wear the 21 shade and it does dry slighty darker but not bad. When the lady at Sephora matched my color, I told her I wanted full converage so she put it thick on my face. It did dry darker and I was scared I purchased the wrong color. But when I apply it myself I do not use as much and it does not seem to dry nearly as dark as when I apply it thicker.

I've bought have a dozen different bottles of dior foundation and find that they run LIGHT. That is, what I'm matched to in the store seems OK on the jawline in the store lighting, but feels too fair when applied all over my face. SO - my guess is that the Linen shade will be OK - I wouldn't be worried that it will be too dark.

This foundation dries a shade darker- I would ask for a sample to take home. I actually had to return the first bottle I bought because once it was over my whole face and dry, it didn't match. Sephora is generous with their samples; mine lasted a few days, and that helped me decide what I really wanted

Is this a hydrating foundation?
I need something that really hydrates in the winter. Currently I use Smashbox hydrating foundation over their hydrating primer and its still not enough. By the end of the work day, the foundation has dried out and settled into my "expression" lines. If this is not REALLY hydrating, does anyone have any other recommendations?

I wouldn't call it moisturizing - it's very sheer and applies smoothly, as long as you've exfoliated and moisturized well.

Does this foundation look orange on pale skin?
The lightest shade looks like it would work for me, but I am the palest of the pale and most shades appear orange on my skin. Would this one work for me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Only slightly in shade 010, as compared to UD Naked Skin, shade 1, which I believe I prefer, frankly, as it is a neutral light shade for my very fair skin: no yellow or pink undertones. Yea! Though I think it has slightly less coverage than the Dior. Still, I think UD a better choice among the two in these shades.

I am super fair as well, and use the 010 shade. However, I have pink undertones to my skin. If yours are more yellow, then you may consider the next shade darker than 010.

Which color for very pale skin?
My skin really is quite pale and Almay's foundation in Ivory is perfect for me (it just doesnt stay on very long :'( ) So after reading the fantastic reviews for this one I would like to give it a try. I'm asuming fair in this product would probably be good too but maybe I'm wrong? At the MAC store they matched me to nw20, but it is actually too dark/orangy for my skin. The only thing is, for spring break I am going some place very sunny and I first burn and then tan so.........Should I go darker? Thanks so much ^_^

get 010 dior nude mineral foundation and or powder,they are a perfect fit for a fair or/and very fair skin and after i tried them i will not use anything alse-they stay on long,treat your skin and are hypoallergenic plus even though they cover well-they look 100% natural on skin

If you need a foundation for your paler days, then I would go with the 010. I have really pale skin, and this one works for me. I was matched with the 20 MAC concealer, and it's too orangy dark.

(warm beige/ for light complexions with pink undertones) and it is a great match!

get the 010 shade it will fit your fair skin like a glove just as it did mine,it has taken me a decade to find the right shade for my skin and this is it -and both dior's nude mineral foundation and powder are simply awsome

Do I need a primer?
I've been using BE for years and always needed a primer before applying their foundation. I just ordered Diorskin Nude for the first time today, haven't used it yet, and I'm unsure of whether or not I'll need a primer for this foundation. I've never used liquid foundation before.

I would use a primer with this too, it will keep your makeup on longer ande shrink you pores, creating a smooth canvas for foundation.

You DO NOT need a primer for this foundation. The best thing for it is your daily moisturizing routine since this is an oil-free foundation. I would suggest the Hydraction UV Milk if you normal/combination, or the Hydraction Rich Creme if you are dry/sensitive.
This foundation is also a treatment product, so it actually helps keep your skin youthful as you keep using it.

I used Med Beige in BM and now use Linen (021) in Dior. The linen has more golden undertones which suits my complexion better.
