Questions & Answers for SEPHORA COLLECTION Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner

Question
Which color would best highlight my green eyes?
My eye color is actually a bit unique, sort of "catty", if you will. My eyes are mostly very green with inner "rays" of golden yellow, and the iris is surrounded in a chalky grey circle.

Yeah I'd say so since it stayed on when I took my shower, I actually had to break out the cotton balls and make-up remover. to tell the truth even then it gave a lil bit of resistance!

Actually it depends. If your in the pool for 3-5 hours then yes it will smear but not as bad as usual eyeliners. if you're in the pool for say 1-3 hours, then your good! It's a great product.

Question
is there a good waterproof inner rim eyeliner?
I have tried numerous inner rim eyeliners but none of them really work! End up with raccoon eyes. Tried Laura Geller, Smashbox, etc. I heard that Lancome eyeliner really is waterproof but is it safe for inner rim of eye? If not, what is?

I've just recently purchased the SEPHORA brand retractable waterproof eyeliner and have found this product to be EXCELLENT and the best one of it's kind, hands down! I've used many other products of this nature and this one is easy to use, waterproof and very-long-lasting. PERFECT choice for me, and I bet you will love it! I'm happy I asked the Sephora girls for their recommendation for the best eyeliner! I came out with a product that I"ll be using for a long time to come.

If youve got eyes that get irritated by liners then maybe you should try Sephora's Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner. My eyes are super sensitive to makeup and this liner is my saving grace. The color works great for brown, hazel or green eyecolors and doesnt irritate my lenses. Whether you want it to smudge is left up to you. It worked for me i hope it works for you:)

Yes you can use this eyeliner on the waterline. If your eyes are quite watery to begin with take a dry cotton bud and very gently dry the inner rim of the eye and then apply the eyeliner. You will have a more longerlasting finish ;o)

Looking at peta.com under Cruelty-Free or non-Cruelty-Free products, Sephora does not show up under either one. At the bottom of the web page:
http://shopcrueltyfree.peta2.com/cruelty_free_companies_search.aspx?Donottest=6&Product=0&Dotest=-1

Peta states this is the reason: "A company may not be found because it has a parent company that tests on animals, because we have no information on its policies, or because it claims to be cruelty-free but has not yet signed our statement of assurance (this must be done in order to be listed)."

Hope this helps.

The purple can be both soft and dark, it depends on your application. Smudge with the sponge applicator for a softer look. Apply as usual and do not smudge for a darker, more dramatic look.

The gold eyeliner has a soft, natural look about it. It is understated, not overstated as one might think. The olive green eyeliner is a great evening choice...more dramatic. You could also use the green during the day and smudge the gold in the crease of the eyelid. Very cool!

I would say that it is (and I DO use it on my waterline), since it's waterproof and all, but if your eye area is sensitive then you should definitely try it on first and see how it feels and then use it in your regular makeup routine! Hope this helps!

@stamplady01 - The sharpener is tucked in the barrel under the smudge-tip. Pull out the smudger like you would the eraser of a mechanical pencil to refill it. The sharpener is in the same section as the smudger where the bottom of the eraser would fit in the pencil.
