Must be defective - the same thing happened to me with this pencil. You're not going crazy, just return it. It was def a huge hassle for such an otherwise convenient product!

Are you sure there's more liner in the pencil? It could be that you're just out of the product. Sometimes holding the pencil upside down will get the liner to come out, but it sounds like a mechanical malfunction.

Personally, its okay for the first hour or two, but runs and settles below the waterline soon after. Usually left me with a more "racoon eye" look. It tended to accentuate my dark circles too.

answer 4
Make sure your skin is dry when you apply it, but it looks great on bottom lashes as well. I just put it on lighter than the top lashes. Depending on how oily your skin is you may have to reapply but not often. Twice max (if you wear it all day)

I've had no problems applying on the bottom half of my lower lid. (P.S. I actually stopped applying to the entire lower lid because a makeup artist told me doing that makes your eyes look smaller).

answer 6
Yes, it works well for the lid/ lash line in that it's really long lasting, especially if you have oily skin. I would go easy on lining your inner rim with this though, as it's waterproof. Just a little near the lash base and not all over the rim works well.

Twist up to use it as a medium pencil. You can remove the smudge-tip and stick the pencil part into the sharpener that is under the smudge tip to make a very fine point for a thinner line.

answer 7
it a twists up but at the bottom (under the smudge tip) there is a sharpener that can be used to make the point sharper. When you first get it the point is sharp so you can do a thin line. After you use it once the tip becomes round and kinda fat, Harder to do a thin line, but the sharpener just kinda reshapes it into a point. Hope this helps.

Pull the sharpener out by the smudger on the back and use it to sharpen what you've twisted out of the lined pen. You can get a very fine line.

Hi I am sure it would but worse case u can use it on ur water line or use it to line around another liner. Use a glittered one and make a thin line and use the silver above that colour, so u would have a line of say glitter black then silver.

I just bought the silver color and it looks like white with a hint of grey.(If that makes sense) I have a light olive skin tone and it shows up on me nicely. I'm almost positive you don't have to worry about it not being noticeable on you. I actually think it would look pretty with your green eyes if not worn heavily.

i myself have a gold one, i have olive skin and green eyes, and i have to say that you do not see it very much, so what i do is i blend it with a dark brown or black eye liner, which ever one you want, and it works, it does the shiny effect of the gold but i still have my eyes pop out because of the brown or black

I ordered the #10 but I have blonde hair. I also have light skin and almost black eyes. Black eyeliner is way too stark on me unless I am tanned or use a very thin line with liquid liner. To be honest, I was not impressed with this eyeliner. It did not seem dark enough for me as a brown/black and it disappeared by noon (and I do not have oily eyelids at all). Hope this helps!
