Are you sure there's more liner in the pencil? It could be that you're just out of the product. Sometimes holding the pencil upside down will get the liner to come out, but it sounds like a mechanical malfunction.

Personally, its okay for the first hour or two, but runs and settles below the waterline soon after. Usually left me with a more "racoon eye" look. It tended to accentuate my dark circles too.

answer 4
Make sure your skin is dry when you apply it, but it looks great on bottom lashes as well. I just put it on lighter than the top lashes. Depending on how oily your skin is you may have to reapply but not often. Twice max (if you wear it all day)

I've had no problems applying on the bottom half of my lower lid. (P.S. I actually stopped applying to the entire lower lid because a makeup artist told me doing that makes your eyes look smaller).

answer 6
Yes, it works well for the lid/ lash line in that it's really long lasting, especially if you have oily skin. I would go easy on lining your inner rim with this though, as it's waterproof. Just a little near the lash base and not all over the rim works well.

Yes, you can sharpen this eyeliner even though it is retractable. Pull out the smudge tip to reveal the sharpener. Place the eyeliner tip inside and twist-- you will have a like-new point again!

Twist up to use it as a medium pencil. You can remove the smudge-tip and stick the pencil part into the sharpener that is under the smudge tip to make a very fine point for a thinner line.

it a twists up but at the bottom (under the smudge tip) there is a sharpener that can be used to make the point sharper. When you first get it the point is sharp so you can do a thin line. After you use it once the tip becomes round and kinda fat, Harder to do a thin line, but the sharpener just kinda reshapes it into a point. Hope this helps.

If they do, it's very, very fine. I'm a bit too old for glitter eye liner, and felt a little silly when I bought one by mistake, but I have no qualms about wearing this one. I wear a metalic, so it's supposed to have some shine, but you can't pick out bits of glitter like you could in the other one.

Question
Does this eyeliner come in a matte navy??
I LOVE this eyeliner. I normally use the dark brown/black or classic black, but I am trying to use navy more for my brown eyes. I tried the Shimmer Navy, but the shimmer seems to detract from the boldness of the pigment. Is there a Matte Navy of this liner somewhere out there??

There does not appear to be a Matte Navy-- but they do have a Matte Charcoal and a Matte Brown Black. I like the Matte Moss and the Matte Deep Plum (my eyes are hazel) and I used an eyeshadow of a similar color that I usually blend into the eyeliner. I think you might like going a little lighter with your eyeliner-- will give you a more subtle, less "made-up" look-- more natural.

Question
my daughter bought this liner and used it less than a week. I can't seem to get it to retract anymore, is this faulty or is it all finished?

Mine lasts for months of daily use, so I'm guessing it's faulty (unless she's been trying to cover her whole lid with it, or something similar). I assume you mean it won't advance (retract would be going back into the case--disappearing). I'd take it back to the store or contact customer service.

I twisted out more than I needed when I first bought it and when I tried to twist it back in the retraction didn't work, so I guess mine was also faulty.
Not sure about using it all up though, I bought it back in late July or August and mine only recently ran out, and I used it pretty frequently.

I think you may have a faulty one. I have mine over two months and use it almost every day. I use the purple and charcoal together. I thought the purple was going to be too light, but it is very nice and it goes well with the charcoal - I use the purple with a wide line on the eyelid and a small line of the charcoal on top of that at the base of the eyelash. It's a nice effect.

It does not twist at the bottom, it twists at the top. That could be one problem. I have never had any issues with this eyeliner and it is the only kind I use. Net weight 0.011 ounce. Mine lasted me about 2 weeks and I did not use it every day. It has an extremely fine tip. . I did sharpen prior to each use though because I like precision point. **In comparison, the Sephora Waterproof contour pencil (non retractable) is 0.04 ounces and has already lasted me 6 weeks and I am no way near half way finished with it . They both are equally long lasing on my eyes, about 8-12 hours.
