I received the Lancôme primer in the same deluxe sample kit that the Smashbox primer came in. They are completely different so difficult to compare. I think that the Lancôme primer actually makes your bare skin look better - radiant even – but didn’t seem any better than my simple moisturizer as a primer. The Smashbox primer didn’t show its greatness until my foundation was applied. It made my foundation (bare minerals) go on quicker and last much longer. It also made my skin silky smooth.

If i were you, i'd try to keep a small amount inside a small container in the car. Kind of like the ones sephora gives their samples in. Then you'll see what it does to your primer. You don't want to put hot primer on your face, it might get runny.
