I have this and Orgasm. I find the shade to be comparable, however their finish is different. Orgasm is more pigmented, and contains glitter - which is where it gets its sheen from. Coralista is lighter and contains no glitter, but leaves a shimmery finish. If you're familiar with Nars Albatross - the finish in Coralista is similar to that.

I think NARS "Orgasm" is a bit more intense in color and a little more on the "peach" color side.

I think so, but that's only my opinion. When I was in the store making this purchase, I was choosing between this one and Orgasm, and I felt, for my skin coloring, that this product offered a more natural looking glow as opposed to blushed cheeks. HTH.

How do you apply this blush?
I love the color of this blush, but I'm having trouble applying it. I've used the applicator that comes in the Coralista box, a blush brush, and even an angled blush brush, but I can't seem to get a natural application. What's the best way to apply this blush? :)

I use a real techniques brush.... I think you need to use less product and start building up as needed. Just try little taps instead of strokes on the apples of your cheeks.... You will see the difference!

I use the Bare Escentuals Handy Buki Brush with this item and all my other Benefit Boxed Powders and powder foundations. Buff it on over foundation or bronzer starting from your cheeks and moving your way up to your temples. Wash the brush once a week with dish soap, gel cleansers or a moisturizing bar of soap ( I like Cetaphil).

I find I get the perfect application when I put a bit on my blush brush, smile to find my apples, dab it right on my apples, tap off any remaining blush on my brush and blend it up and out over my cheekbones :)

Ease up on the amount of product you're putting on the brush. There's no need to rub or grind the brush into the product, a light sweep is plenty. Make sure your skin is properly moisturizer maybe even primed if you have primer. If that doesn't help, try a different blush brush.

I have very fair skin too and this product is actually perfect. I love it! The picture makes it look kind of dark and orangy but it really comes out too a light neutral pink color. Do this: search benefit in the search box, when it gets to benefit products click on the "get the look box," when there, look at the "complexion perfection" model. She's light complected and they've used this blush on her and she looks gorgeous. That's what sold me so I went and got it and it's just right for my fair skin tone.

Not much shimmer is in this product at all...it's more of a soft glow. You also need a lot of it to even show up on your face. NARS Super Orgasm is much more intense and has the little glittery specks in it...which don't really stay on your face much at all but it fun any way!!

I think Coralista is similar to Nars Orgasm in color, but much more natural looking. Some people might not like this because it means Coralista is much less pigmented, but if you're looking for a more natural look, I'd definitely recommend it! On a final note, I also think both blushes have equal staying power.

Super orgasm is more orangey, and has gold glitter in it. Coralista has a pink undertone and a very faint shimmer. Unless you have olive-toned skin, I'd stick with Coralista.

So different, the shades are a bit similar but the glittery edition Super Orgasm does not hold a candle to this for a natural look. I think orgasm is a less universal shade than this, actually, its very wearable, pretty and healthy looking on all skin tones! If you like glitter, stick to super o, if you like stronger shimmer, reg orgasm has that, if you are looking for something natural, this is the product for you!

yes i think it would work on fairer skin tones and you can always be light handed with the brush to apply more or less as needed. I am medium to fair toned and i just apply a little more sometimes cause it's rather light but not too light.

As long as you have a light hand when applying, it doesn't make you look like a clown. It has a somewhat subtle pigment so if you just apply one light brush stroke to your face you should be fine, but if that's not dark enough just add another. It isn't a very dark shade and I have a fair skin tone, it just gives a subtle glow to your skin.

And it is worth the money because of how long it lasts. I got the sample size a few months ago, I use it daily and I'm not even halfway through it.

You might want to use a different brush when applying the make up, I've heard not great reviews about the one supplied.

It works well for my really pale skin. I never use the brush that comes with benefit's blushes since it draws more of a straight line across the cheek like some sort of 80s look. I use a little kabuki brush instead and lightly sweep it across each cheek twice. Looks natural.

I like this as I'm building my tan, it can be layered on a little more for some more color; but I guess it just depends on the look you're going for. I have a blush palette w/ various colors I add a pop of color with over the top of this if it's not enough. Good luck playing with it! : )

Try to find a blush with more coral or peach. CoraLista is awesome! If you buy it from Sephora and don't like it, you have 30 days to return it. If you have a Sephora store near you, visit it and talk to one of the make-up assistants because you can try anything and everything in the store. Then go outside into the sunlight to really see if this is the look you are looking for. Besides, CoraLista smells great!

I don't have dark skin, but I can relate to Nars Orgasm being the wrong color. This is a softer coral and it has much less shimmer than the Nars blush. So, it might work well for you. I think it would be lovely on dark skin. It almost looks like a bronzer here online, but in person, it's a true coral. You may have to put it on a bit heavier to get it to show up, depending on how deep your skin is, but I find a couple of swipes is perfect for me, and I'm quite fair.

I love both Torrid and Orgasm from Nars. I also have Desire from Nars which looks scary but when tapped on lightly gives you a sexy flush. In my opinion, Benefit powders don't look good on my olive skin. I go tanning a lot so sometimes it's between olive and deep.

I would go with NARS Orgasm..it's a beautiful shade for every skin tone, especially olive skin. The new Cha Cha Tint works way, way better for me. Coralista is very sheer, so it's hard to get good color. It turns pink on my skin, and it's really, really shimmery. The shimmer is too much for my oil breakthrough.

I have tried Orgasm from Nars and it's really glittery and too orange for me... my mom has olive skin and Coralista is very pretty! I'd definitely recommend that you try Coralista before Nars... Coralista is a little shimmery but very natural looking... Orgasm is not natural looking, it's pretty, but in my opinion Coralista is a much prettier blush. It's what Orgasm claims to be but even better... you could wear it sheer or layer it on a get the SAME color as Orgasm but without the crazy glitter!

I haven't had any acne issues, but I don't normally get acne on my cheeks. However, Sephora rocks and you can buy it, try it for 30 days, and if you hate it - return it. If you love the color and it looks great on you, I say try it. Usually if a product is going to cause you problems, you will know within a very short timeframe (a few days to two weeks).

Yes, it does have shimmer. BUT the shimmer is minimal. I am 34 and have had bad experiences with too much shimmer, sparkle, or glitter looking products on my face and cheeks (shimmer, glitter, sparkle still work for my eyes) because it makes me look older than I am because it settles funny on my face. I have been using CoraLista for a few weeks and I still love it today. I get compliments on a regular basis for my sun-kissed looking cheeks.
