answer 3
I have this and Orgasm. I find the shade to be comparable, however their finish is different. Orgasm is more pigmented, and contains glitter - which is where it gets its sheen from. Coralista is lighter and contains no glitter, but leaves a shimmery finish. If you're familiar with Nars Albatross - the finish in Coralista is similar to that.

I think NARS "Orgasm" is a bit more intense in color and a little more on the "peach" color side.

I think so, but that's only my opinion. When I was in the store making this purchase, I was choosing between this one and Orgasm, and I felt, for my skin coloring, that this product offered a more natural looking glow as opposed to blushed cheeks. HTH.

Question
Would this be good on tanned skin
I have a dark tan and I want to try this blush, as Nars Super Orgasm is too pink for me and to even get any color I have to pile it on, making it even pinker. Is this a good shade for tanned skin? TIA

i don't think this would show up very well on dark or tan skin. i am light to medium and i have to add a bit to get the depth of color that i like. but that being said.. i like a LOT of color on my cheeks. This color is pretty sheer/sheeny

I like this as I'm building my tan, it can be layered on a little more for some more color; but I guess it just depends on the look you're going for. I have a blush palette w/ various colors I add a pop of color with over the top of this if it's not enough. Good luck playing with it! : )

Try to find a blush with more coral or peach. CoraLista is awesome! If you buy it from Sephora and don't like it, you have 30 days to return it. If you have a Sephora store near you, visit it and talk to one of the make-up assistants because you can try anything and everything in the store. Then go outside into the sunlight to really see if this is the look you are looking for. Besides, CoraLista smells great!

I don't have dark skin, but I can relate to Nars Orgasm being the wrong color. This is a softer coral and it has much less shimmer than the Nars blush. So, it might work well for you. I think it would be lovely on dark skin. It almost looks like a bronzer here online, but in person, it's a true coral. You may have to put it on a bit heavier to get it to show up, depending on how deep your skin is, but I find a couple of swipes is perfect for me, and I'm quite fair.

How do you apply this blush?
I love the color of this blush, but I'm having trouble applying it. I've used the applicator that comes in the Coralista box, a blush brush, and even an angled blush brush, but I can't seem to get a natural application. What's the best way to apply this blush? :)

I use the Bare Escentuals Handy Buki Brush with this item and all my other Benefit Boxed Powders and powder foundations. Buff it on over foundation or bronzer starting from your cheeks and moving your way up to your temples. Wash the brush once a week with dish soap, gel cleansers or a moisturizing bar of soap ( I like Cetaphil).

Ease up on the amount of product you're putting on the brush. There's no need to rub or grind the brush into the product, a light sweep is plenty. Make sure your skin is properly moisturizer maybe even primed if you have primer. If that doesn't help, try a different blush brush.

Does this have Fragrance/Parfum?
Fragrance always makes my face break out like crazy. I can't seem to find an ingredient list for this product anywhere. I know that some of Benefit's other blushes are scented, so I figured I'd ask if anyone knew if this product had Fragrance/Parfum on the ingredient list. Thanks!

Yes, it does have shimmer. BUT the shimmer is minimal. I am 34 and have had bad experiences with too much shimmer, sparkle, or glitter looking products on my face and cheeks (shimmer, glitter, sparkle still work for my eyes) because it makes me look older than I am because it settles funny on my face. I have been using CoraLista for a few weeks and I still love it today. I get compliments on a regular basis for my sun-kissed looking cheeks.

I'd describe it as having a frosty sheen to it with slight shimmer. On my cheeks it looks extremely natural. Compare it to Nars Orgasm which is a similar color but instead is shimmery with specks of glitter.

Question
Not long lasting??
I have been using this blush for almost a year now. I absolutely love the color it puts on my cheeks, and the shimmer it adds. And from reading the reviews, I just noticed the pleasant smell!

Well, my box is almost gone and I was looking to buy a new one but I have always noticed that it hardly lasts longer than an hour!

Does anyone else have this problem, suggestions to make it stay, or suggestions of a different similar colored blush that is longlasting?! I love this blush but I really want it to last longer!!!

Maybe you could try using a primer like Smashbox photo finish. It makes all of your makeup last longer and not fade. Or, you could try a cream blush of a similar color underneath....then follow with the Coralista. The cream blush will act as a base/primer and make it last longer.

answer 4
Before I apply my foundation, I apply Smashbox green primer. This helps my foundation go on more smoothly and keep it on. It also helps with my pink spots and evens me out. After I apply my foundation, I apply my Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil (face powder) to set my foundation. Then I apply my blush over that. I sometimes apply my Mac Pretty Baby face powder over my entire face after I apply my blush. Either way I do it, seems to work for me because I don't have any problems with my CoraLista staying put.

Maybe the lighting in your bathroom is not ideal for applying makeup because my bathroom had bad lighting and a cranberry-ish paint color. This caused me problems applying my make up properly because it looked like I had put on too much blush, even though I didn't. When I would check my face before getting out of the car, it looked like I wasn't wearing any blush. So, I fixed the lights and repainted the bathroom (neutral color) and voila! problem solved.

There are two things that you can do to make this product last longer on your complexion. You can wear a primer, I suggest That Gal face brightening primer. This will help make all of your makeup last all day long! You can also apply bene tint, a lip and cheek stain, onto your cheeks then sweep Coralista over. I use Bene tint and Coralista together every day. The bene tint keeps the Coralista looking vibrant all day! Hope this helps.

As long as you have a light hand when applying, it doesn't make you look like a clown. It has a somewhat subtle pigment so if you just apply one light brush stroke to your face you should be fine, but if that's not dark enough just add another. It isn't a very dark shade and I have a fair skin tone, it just gives a subtle glow to your skin.

And it is worth the money because of how long it lasts. I got the sample size a few months ago, I use it daily and I'm not even halfway through it.

You might want to use a different brush when applying the make up, I've heard not great reviews about the one supplied.

It works well for my really pale skin. I never use the brush that comes with benefit's blushes since it draws more of a straight line across the cheek like some sort of 80s look. I use a little kabuki brush instead and lightly sweep it across each cheek twice. Looks natural.

I have very fair skin too and this product is actually perfect. I love it! The picture makes it look kind of dark and orangy but it really comes out too a light neutral pink color. Do this: search benefit in the search box, when it gets to benefit products click on the "get the look box," when there, look at the "complexion perfection" model. She's light complected and they've used this blush on her and she looks gorgeous. That's what sold me so I went and got it and it's just right for my fair skin tone.
