Questions & Answers for Korres Wild Rose Compact Powder

Question
Good for acne prone skin and large pores?
I have light hormonal acne and am getting over a breakout; I have some large pores near my nose, and am concerned the powder will make them appear larger. Has anyone gotten more breakouts and large-looking pores from this? I usually don't have a problem with Korres products.

Thanks

I have moderate acne and it took me forever to find something to not irritate my face. I love to use this powder though. Most the time I use over my foundation which is bareminerals but I have used it with just concealer and its great!!

The only time I break out is from stress or it's hormonal. I'm currently just getting over a breakout as well and started using this powder. No problems so far (2 weeks use) in fact I like it.

Question
what color and is it a good choice for me?
I use Smashbox Halo powder in Light. I love it, but want something smaller, in a compact, to travel with. I don't usually use foundation, and I like a lightweight powder with light coverage. I don't like when powders settle into wrinkles. What color should I chose, and is it a good choice for me?

I used Halo in the past. I like Korres better for travel as it is smaller and not messy like Halo can be. Try it. It will give you a light coverage which allows your natural skin tone to shine through but would can build in areas where you may need more coverage. I recommend changing out the sponge regularly to avoid putting old oils back on your face.

Question
Ingredients?
Does this product contain talc? I noticed that the Korres wild rose loose powder mineral foundation says there is no talc, yet this product does not.

yes, it lists talc on the ingredient list. Don't know why this has talc while the loose powder does not, but there you go....

(The loose powder is excellent, by the way.)

Question
What shade should I order?
I'm pretty fair, and for the foundation I use WRF1 which is decent. And I'm wondering if the WRP2 for the powder is fair/light enough?

I am fair too and the WPR2 made my face super orange. I would try to test it in the store first before buying. Definitely don't buy online.

Go with the 1, the 2 is going to be too dark for you.

Question
What color works best for fair skin with pink undertones?
The lightest color says "fair, with golden undertones". I have pink undertones; will this work for me or am I better off with the next shade?

you should try #2. #3 has a bit of a yellow tint to it. I also think #1 would be too light.

I work at a Sephora and use #2 which is good for light skin tones with golden undertones, definitely not light enough for people with fair skin. The #1 in the liquid wild rose foundation would probably work well for you, but #2 from the powder might be too yellow for you.

Yes, the compact does flip up and there is a square sponge applicator. I recommend using a brush though; I think it gives a nicer finish.

I just ordered the tinted moisturizer in Medium Honey and I am looking for the powder that would go best with that color. I have medium skintone, acne prone and oily.

hi, probably the 3 or 4? I have the tinted moisturizer in light sand, which is slightly lighter than my skin tone, but i have the wrp2, which is sliiightly dark on me, but blends really well. I tried on hte medium honey at the store, and since it was too dark on me, I'd say it's the equivalent of the wrp 3 or 4. hope that helps.
