runny and gloppy?

hey has anyone else problems with this being runny and gloppy? I have been using this for quite a while now but the last three that I have purchased have all gotten runny and gloppy all over the brush and ends up taking way too much out of the container. its gross and is a complete waste of product.

I'm on my 3rd tube of this mascara and never ever had that problem. I would take it back and say there's obviously something wrong with this product and either get your money back or try another, I would try another, I love this mascara and wouldn't use anything else! I have a feeling you may have purchased a bad product.

Wow, my buxom lash was the opposite, it was clumpy and more dry looking than wet. I would switch to a different mascara, dior and sephora brand are my personal favorites.

Hi,

I've been using Buxom Last for several years and never had a problem with it. Make sure you don't pump it. Just twist it in the tube before using.

I haven't had this problem at all with Buxom, but it sounds like you may be storing your mascara somewhere too hot (for example, a spot that receives a lot of sunlight or perhaps close to your radiator).

Does this mascara help curl lashes that are normally straight?

I am a picky mascara wearer because I have to curl my lashes and then put on my mascara. I have found that most mascaras uncurl my lashes and then I am back to having lashes that stick straight out. Is this mascara a wet mascara or a dryer mascara? Will it help keep my lashes curled all day?

Hi i know just how you feel my mom and sister are the same way
well i is sorta like a creamy rich type and it does help curl your lashes it acully does it beautifuly too and i dont think you'll even have to curl them hope you feel the same way about this fantaboulous product

for it does i am very picky as well. i normally do not have to curl my lashes with this mascara just cuz of the curve and curl that this mascaras effect leaves your lashes like is great;

It doesn't curl on its own, but it's one of very few mascaras that holds a curl for me if I use a crimper. It's a very light formula, and I think that's why. Most mascaras, especially ones that are supposed to thicken, are heavy enough they weigh down my super-straight, super-thin lashes. Buxom holds my curl all day (I use two coats at least, usually adding a third coat after work if I go out). I'm very happy with it.

I have long lashes. If you put too many layers on they will start to stick together. Also be carefull not to touch your lashes before they dry. I noticed that that can cause it to stick also. If you apply one to two layers it separates.

I have fairly long lashes as well. I find this mascara to be one of the better ones for not making my lashes stick together. But I also always run a lash comb through my lashes while mascara is still damp just to make sure they're separated nicely

My lashes are already long and thick as well. Although this mascara really builds volume and length, it also defintes well and doesn't get clumpy. It's also very easy to layer, so you can apply it with a light hand for subtle enhancement or go over it a couple of times for a more dramatic look. Even with a heavy application, I found it looked really nice and didn't clump at all.

This is amazing mascara but it does lengthen and thicken a lot - so maybe isn't the right mascara for you if you are already blessed with super long lashes. I haven't seen it in a trial size. But I would get some samples from Sephora to find your perfect mascara.

I have very watery eyes because of horrible allergies and I use buxom all the time. It does not run or give me raccoon eyes. It's perfect. I do think they have a waterproof formula though if you want to try that.

Nope, not waterproof. The mascara is great though so you could always add a waterproofer after the mascara dries. That's what I do & I don't have any issues as long as I cover all of my lashes.

If it is on the bottom lashes, it can run if you tear up. I don't really mind though because this is such a thin mascara that it never globs or sticks to your skin and is really easily removed if it does smear.

No, it's not water proof. It does not run easily. I poke myself in the eye more then I'd like to admit and honestly I rarely have a problem I can't fix. A great thing about this mascara though is that it has a great hold and cleans off really easily. If it was to run just take a Q-Tip, wet it slightly and gently rub at the smudging. You'll look as good as new in 2.5 seconds, promise!

UPDATE: Thanks for the feedback. I continued to use the product since my question only because i was to lazy to go get another. Turns out my lashes stopped falling out… as much. And I've come to like the mascara. Doesn't weigh my lashes down. I definitely like it better than previous mascaras.

I use it for about two weeks now and i didn't notice anything like that, actually it feels alright and i never experienced any discomfort using it so far. However, if that's the reaction you get i would suggest to stop using it and see if your lashes stop falling off.

No! It is not waterproof, not even water resistant. This stuff is very soluble in water, and is quite messy once it smears on the face. I usually take a wet cotton pad and gently pull my lashes through it to remove the mascara. Otherwise, if it gets smeared all over my face, I need a toner or cleanser to remove it.
