How does this mascara rate compared to the sephora top picked dior mascara?

Buxom's better than Show. Buxom doesn't provide raccoon eyes (as Show does), and Buxom gets all the way to the roots of each lash, unlike Show.

answer 2
I think it depends on what you want out of your mascara. I like DiorShow because it dries faster, and Buxom stays moist the whole time. Staying a bit gooey gives the eyelashes a less brittle feel, and even a more natural look, BUT I like to use eyelash tools like combs and curlers, and they don't do a good job on moist eyelashes. Buxom lengthens and does a good job at getting every eyelash because of the smaller brush, but doesn't add as much volume or color as DiorShow's thicker brush.

Buxom by far. Used to be a die hard DiorShow fan, but it always dried out too fast, as I was warned it would. Buxom lasts longer and does just as great of a job, if not better!

I used to use Diorshow but this is now my favorite mascara. I also recently tried the lashstash sampler and I am still buying my buxom lash again. It is perfect and easy to put on. No clumps and stays looking great and I love the brush.

I like Buxom better because it is a true black. Diorshow is more of a black with a hint of blue.

I bought Diorshow after I saw my co-worker's bold and dramatic lashes. Unfortunately, it's not good to use if you have sensitive skin. My eyes started burning and tearing up mid-day and by the end of the day my eyelids were swollen. I bought buxom as a lighter option and I LOVE it. If you're not so sensitive Diorshow is more dramatic, but Buxom is a safer alternative and the brush looks cooler.

I use both of them together. I start with applying the diorshow iconic on first to lengthen and separate. Then I apply the buxom to make my lashes really black.

I've tried both Busom and DiorShow, and I'm a bigger fan of Buxom. Dior was too heavy and clumpy. Yeah, it volumized, but that was because there was no separation in the lashes. I like Buxom because it volumizes every single lash, without clumping. But it's something your going to need to see for yourself. Try them both!

I have never bought Dior mascara but I have tried lots of mascaras (and I am very picky with my mascara) and I cant find a flaw in this product so far. It doesnt run, flake, or smear and it delivers length and volume along with a great big rubber bristled brush. This is the best mascara I have tried so far and I would rccomend this proudly.

i have both diorshow and buxom mascaras. i prefer diorshow because it give me volume and curl than buxom. plus, diorshow does not smear and flake like the buxom mascara. diorshow stays from morning to nite with no flakes and the texture of diorshow on my lashes feels silky. i would recommended the diorshow since trying both of the mascaras for about 3 months and buxom always give me flakes later on in the evening.

This is way better than DiorShow for me personally. I bought a full size of DiorShow but had to return it due to an eye infection it caused starting with the second day of use. I received this Buxom Lash as a free deluxe sample and I am hooked. Love everything about it and will buy the full size when I run out.

answer 14
I've used both, and I prefer the Buxom lash. It is a much lighter formula than DiorShow, so it holds a curl better and gives much more definition. The DiorShow is slightly better as far as volume, but I found it to get clumpy very easily. Also, Buxom lash is not nearly as heavily perfumed as the DiorShow.

I love DiorShow mascara and this is equally good, just different. This is a bit more "plasticy" and less oily if that makes sense. I would continue to use Dior for night and this for daytime. It seems to wear a bit longer without flakes or smudging.

It's definitely not waterproof- the only mascara I've found that never smudges is Blinc, but it doesn't provide quite as much volume and intensity as Buxom. I tend to use Blinc for everyday wear, and put on Buxom when I'm going to a party or something because it's more dramatic and I won't need it for quite as long.

I did get racoon eyes at the end of the day. Look somewhere else if you want a stay-put mascara. If nothing works, try the "Blinc" Kiss me mascara, takes some time to get used to it but it is the absolute best for avoiding racoon eyes.

I've worn this everyday and have had to walk through a lot of weather to get to classes. A little bit of rain isn't too much of a bother as long as you don't rub your eyes, but I wouldn't expect it to hold up in a storm or while swimming. Wind also gives me some trouble because my eyes tear up pretty badly, but this will just leave little smudges in the corner. The good news is that it you can clean the smudges off pretty easily, and it really doesn't run too horribly. Raccoon eyes is an overstatement.

It is not waterproof, however after it is dry you should have no smudging. And, I had no problem with little raccoon eyes either. It doesn't leave them on me. I use the BE Make-up Remover and a Dermalogica Make-up Remover. Find a Remover (complete make-up or eye-area-only one that works great and removes all of the product, THEN wash your face. I've found this one step changes whether I have Raccoon Eyes or not. i really like buxom lash! the only thing is that once you've had it for a while and it starts getting old (like more than 5 months), it starts flaking because it's drying out. other than that, no complaints! doesn't run, burn my eyes, make my lashes brittle, or anything.

I've used Diorshow (both versions) Benefit badgal and this.
Benefit was by far the worst. I was stuck with it for half a year because I was living in China at the time. I kept wanting my Diorshow back! It flakes and was more drying. However now I'm hooked on Buxom :)

LOVE this mascara. Please note that the first few times you use a new tube it won't perform well. After a few times it creates long and thick lashes, but at first it is a bit thin like liquid liner. BUT it is well worth it anyways!! I have used every thing from Chanel to Loreal and this is tops. Plus who wants to put something on their eyes that has a warning that it can make you go blind. Yes, they have a warning on regular mascara. (something I never noticed until switching to more natural makeup)

Hi,

I've been using Buxom Last for several years and never had a problem with it. Make sure you don't pump it. Just twist it in the tube before using.

I haven't had this problem at all with Buxom, but it sounds like you may be storing your mascara somewhere too hot (for example, a spot that receives a lot of sunlight or perhaps close to your radiator).
