For very sensitive skin and skin with Rosacea, I would probably avoid the peel pads. The peel pads contain a relatively higher percentage of Glycolic Acid. They are like a professional "at-home" peel. Glycolic acid has a few benefits. It's supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles. But it also helps with skin texture and clarity. It's because its a natural fruit enzyme that actually dissolves and eats old dead skin cells, and helping your skin to shed these old dead clumped up cells, allowing your newer fresh skin cells to be revealed. Because of this, it is also helpful for people with clogged pores, blackheads/acne.

However, Rosacea is finnicky. You are prone to flare ups and sensitivity. Glycolic is an acid and can be aggravating to you. I urge you to look for another product. But if you feel you must try these or anything else with Glycolic, you should start low and go slow. Look for something with a Glycolic percentage of only 10% at first and only use it once a week and for only 30 seconds. You can gradually build up your tolerance later. The PTR pads only come in 20% so that is quite high for you or anyone who's a first time user of glycolic acid. However, if you really want to try these pads, I suggest only leaving the solution on for no more than 30 seconds. If you start to get stinging, that is normal, but if the stinging is intense or severe, you should immediately rinse with cool water. Be careful!

I have sensitive skin also. Start using the pads once every other day. Leave on 1 - 2 minutes till you build up your tolerance. I usually use it in the shower. I did have some peeling in the begining. Nothing too major, after the first week of using them my skin is brighter and more youthfull looking. I can't live without them now. I follow it with PTR Un-wrinkle serum and Un-wrinkle cream.

I can have sensitivity at times whenever I try new products. I also have some redness in my cheeks. I had some tingling when I used the serum and the pads, but that's a good thing. The effects did not cause added redness or sensitivity. The benefits were amazing!

The Un-Wrinkle Pads deep clean, exfoliate, and lift. Use it onlw 2-3 times a week if Sensitive Skin is an issue. For Redness, try Peter Thomas Roth Viz 1000 Hyalaunic Acid is great for relaxing, soothing, and actually even smoothes out the muscles that creates furrows and Marionette lines. Hope that helps!!! Here's to Beauty, Youth and You!!! Also, his Cucumber Masque you'd adore, and ease redness!!!

You are correct. This kit does not have the Unwrinkle Eye cream. There is another kit on Sephora.com which has the Lashes to Die For lash treatment and mascara and also an Unwrinkle Concealer and Brightening duo. And that kit also has the Unwrinkle Eye cream in sample size.

This kit only has the Unwrinkle serum for targetting lines anywhere on your face, and the Unwrinkle Night cream which is for all over the face. But I don't see why you can't actually use them on or around your eyes. But I am not a skin professional, so I can't guarantee that you can do that. I have sensitive eyes and I own this kit, and did try using them under my eyes and they make my eyes tear a bit. But that's just me and my darn sensitive eyes.

You can find Eye Cremes in the Mega Rich and Unwrinkle sections. I am in the same age category you are, and have to keep pores clean, yet hydrate, keep lines away, and most eye cremes don't hold up to their word. His does, because of the Hydrating promises, and UnWrinkle promises, and his Ingredients, of course!!! Mega Rich can be used under the Moisturizer all day, too!!! I hope I helped you out, as I would have liked an answer to a question I had. Here's to Beauty, Youth, and You!!!

Yes, at one time there was an eye cream included..
However, it was not in this kit, it would have been in the Anti-Aging Kit.
Every once in awhile I will see a limited time only comeback of the eye cream added in the Anti Age kit.

If it is no longer available, I would check PTR's website, he has sales & sometimes different kits than sephora..
Also, Qvc has different kits from Sephora as well, I weigh my options for each site, fiddle with the numbers, then crack down & make the decision of where I will purchase my products..

I must say, it is definately woth the money!! Plus! A VERY, VERY, VERY Little goes a VERY LONG WAY!!

BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR BEAUTY HUNT!
I HOPE THIS HELPLED ANSWER THE QUESTIONS YOU HAD.

There isn't any eye cream in this kit. I went back on line and ordered the full size products in the "bunch" that Sephora has packed together and it has an eye cream. So far I really like this but I want to wait for several weeks before I make a firm decision!

Question
Which kit should I choose?
I am 46 with fair skin. It has recently begun to sag and crease around my mouth and generally not snap back like it once did. I also have slight crows feet. Otherwise my skin is in good condition - well hydrated and smooth. But the sagging is really bumming me out! There are two PTR kits - the Unwrinkle Kit, and the Age Defense Kit. Which should I try?

My opinion would be to start with the un-wrinkle kit. Like you, at 46 my skin was in the same condition. Start to un-wrinkle before you get the wrinkles that come with the 50 something era. I can't attest however to the other product's abilities as I have not used them.

I would go for the Unwrinkle kit and also look at PTR's new product. I can't remember the exact name of it, but it's in a black tube and another is in a black bottle, and they have a name with something like FirmRX or something to that effect. I am pretty sure these products are faily new and they are available on Sephora.

For the prices, I got both. Now, I have a PTR Travel Kit, too!!! They both go go in conjunction with each other, as Peter himself recommends to start with the Age Defense, and use Unwrinkle, (incluing FirmX), and Mega Rich, especially to hydrate. They are all components that compliment each other, and if you like another brand for a specific problem, I personally have, and there was no irritation. Until I began to be able to purchase more Products from PTR, I used some help a brand I was using. They worked well!!! I'm in your age range, and I haven't EVER found such hydration, espcially around the eyes. And PTR's SYN-AKE, is a super product to stop those Marionette lines we Fair-Skinned Gals have to worry about showing so much!!! I hope I helped you!!! Here's to Beauty, Youth, and You!!!

i was faced with the same dilemma, being 47.

i decided on the un-wrinkle kit, since the age-defense is most likely geared toward PREVENTATIVE care of those under 40.
i needed something to treat the deeper lines i have NOW.

I'm 46 also with the same problems...I've started using the Un-Wrinkle kit, and I love it!! It's working for me. However, I havent tried the other kit, so I cant say anything about that. I like that I could buy the Un-Wrinkle Kit (around 60.00) to try and see first before investing in big money for full size products!! Ask for samples too....our Sephora store is great about that!!

I'm surprised to hear you say you like the lipgloss. I actually didn't like it at all. I preferred the Lips to Die For Pink Bombshell lip balm in the jar. I have seen both items being sold seperately at various retailers online. I could have sworn that I saw both of them on Sephora as well, but perhaps I am mistaken. I absolutely am sure that I saw them on another well-known retailer's website, but unfortunately I can't say where since it's not Sephora.

Just browse through his UnWrinkle Collection. There is a Site that sells it, but I don't know if I can do that. Just put the word skin near the word store. I feel the prices here are better, but there are Specials on each Site, so it's just Shop Around about pricing. Otherwise, they are basically the same. Here, there is just more to offer as far as the Beauty Consultants go, and the Shipping is far less money!!! Stick with PTR, trust me!!! Here's to Beauty, Youth, and You!!! Also, he has a Balm called Lips To Die For...check THAT ONE out.

Question
Effective for deep wrinkles?
I'm 29 & have some marionette lines that decided to become quite deep recently.
While I don't expect this to wipe those away entirely, I'm wondering if the kit will at least reduce them.

I mean, I know it *says* that it targets deep wrinkles, but a lot of the reviews seem to mention that it's been effective for fine lines or general clarity, so I just want to see if it addresses the deep wrinkle issue effectively.

Yes, it gets rid of those! And his new serum has 73% peptides compared to the 23% in this product! At 29, you need to really work on your skin, if you are already getting marionette lines! Get this kit and use all the products and he has a sunscreen/ day moisturizer. You really need to use it too. Or some type of sunscreen/day moisturizer. Sephora has a ton of them with all prices!

I think the difference btw the peel pads and the pumpkin enzyme mask is that the pads have a higher percentage of glycolic acid in them. The packaging on the pads states 20% which is really good. In PA, where I live, 30% is the maximum strength that a licensed esthetician can apply in a salon. So 20% is considered like a Professional "At-Home" peel. Which is awesome if you can't afford to go for facials at a salon every week. The pumpkin mask, I am not sure what the actual percentage is, but I am sure it is not 20%. It's probably much lower like 8 or 10%. The pads are targeted towards people with lines and wrinkles. The pumpkin mask is more for people who are only just developing some fine lines.

Part of what you are looking at here is strenght of active ingredients. Most of the pumpkin peel items rely on beta hydroxy acids which are less effective and drying but better for some sensitive skins.

It can be used on sensitive skin. I have areas of my face and neck that are sensitive. Although they are all chemical based treatments, they are not too harsh and basically can be used daily - particularly the Un-Wrinkle and Un-Wrinkle Night. The peel pads are not necessary for daily use but are also reasonably gentle on sensitive skin - the pads a little rough.

UnWrinkle products - use the Peel Pads to exfoliate - and Mega Rich, for getting rid of sagging doesn't work unless you Hydrate, especially during the Winter. I Hydrate all year round, as I live in air conditioning the majority of the Summer. Also, add PTR's Viz 1000 with Hyalaunic Acid. It relaxes down to the muscles, and helps UnWrinkle teach those facial muscles to firm UP and smooth OUT!!! I just had success with his Products, especially with Marionette lines, which only made my face look more saggy that people thought I was sad. Even when I am, I don't want others to see (unless I want to). I hope I helped you out!!! You have to "retrain" the facial muscle again. His Cucumber and Pumpkin Enzyme Masques are assets, too!!!
